Finally, Vitor Bruno leaves the Porto bench
Vitor Bruno has left the Porto bench, with the Portuguese coach “paying the price” of being eliminated by Roma in the Europa League playoffs.
Vitor Bruno’s position at Porto has been “shaking” for some time, with the final end coming one day after the 3-2 defeat at the Olimpico and the elimination by Roma in the Europa League playoffs.
The Dragons announced the end of their collaboration with the Portuguese coach, who was assistant to Sergio Conceicao from 2017 to 2024, while after his removal he took over as head coach.
He sat on the Porto bench in 29 matches this season, with a record of 18 wins, three draws and eight losses, leaving the Dragons in 4th place at -6 from the first Sporting Lisbon.

Παρελθόν από τον πάγκο της Πόρτο αποτελεί ο Βίτορ Μπρούνο, με τον Πορτογάλο τεχνικό να “πληρώνει το μάρμαρο” του αποκλεισμού από τη Ρόμα στα playoffs του Europa League.
Η καρέκλα του Βίτορ Μπρούνο στην Πόρτο “έτριζε” εδώ και καιρό, με το οριστικό τέλος να έρχεται μία ημέρα μετά την ήττα με 3-2 στο Ολίμπικο και τον αποκλεισμό από τη Ρόμα στα playoffs του Europa League.
Οι Δράκοι ανακοίνωσαν τη λήξη της συνεργασίας του με τον Πορτογάλο τεχνικό, ο οποίος από το 2017 έως και το 2024 ήταν βοηθός του Σέρτζιο Κονσεϊσάο, ενώ μετά την απομάκρυνσή του ανέλαβε χρέη πρώτου προπονητή.
