Marc Marquez fastest in Free Practice 1 in Thailand

The 2025 MotoGP season kicked off in Thailand with the premier class's Free Practice 1 for the first round of the season!

Marc Marquez set the fastest time in the first free practice session, stopping the clock at 1:29.423.

Franco Morbidelli finished FP1 in 2nd place, 0.158s behind the leader.

The top three was completed by the first Yamaha of Fabio Quartararo (Team Factory).

In 4th place was another Yamaha with Jack Miller (Pramac Racing), ahead of Marco Bezzecchi with the first Aprilia Rs-GP25, while the top six was closed by Japanese rider Ai Ogura with another Aprilia Rs-GP25.

Ducati Gresini Racing rider Alex Marquez finished in 7th place, ahead of Miguel Oliveira and the best KTM, Maverick Vinales of the Tech3 team, with a difference of 0.631s from the top.

Francesco Bagnaia, who worked on the Desmosedici setup, rounded out the top ten.

The Hondas of Johann Zarco (LCR), Luca Marini (HRC) and Joan Mir finished in 11th to 13th place.

Rookie Fermin Aldeguer (Gresini Racing) finished in 14th place, ahead of the factory Yamaha of Alex Rins, the KTM of Pedro Acosta and the other rookie, Somkiat Chantra (Honda LCR).

Το MotoGP για το 2025 ξεκίνησε στην Ταϊλάνδη με το Free Practice 1 της μεγάλης κατηγορίας για τον πρώτο γύρο της σεζόν!

Ο Marc Marquez έγραψε τον ταχύτερο χρόνο στην πρώτη ελεύθερη δοκιμή σταματώντας το χρονόμετρο στο 1:29.423.

Στην 2η θέση τελείωσε το FP1, ο Franco Morbidelli, με διαφορά από τον πρώτο 0.158s.

Την πρώτη τριάδα συμπλήρωσε το πρώτο Yamaha του Fabio Quartararo (Team Factory).

Στην 4η θέση άλλο ένα Yamaha με τον Jack Miller (Pramac Racing), μπροστά από τον Marco Bezzecchi με την πρώτη Aprilia Rs-GP25, ενώ την πρώτη εξάδα έκλεισε ο Ιάπωνας οδηγός Ai Ogura με ένα ακόμα Aprilia Rs-GP25.

Στην 7η θέση τελείωσε ο οδηγός της Ducati Gresini Racing με τον Alex Marquez,, μπροστά από τον Miguel Oliveira και το καλύτερο από τα KTM, εκείνο της ομάδας Tech3 του Maverick Vinales, με διαφορά στο 0,631s από την κορυφη.

Την πρώτη δεκάδα έκλεισε ο Francesco Bagnaia, που εργάστηκε για τη ρύθμιση του Desmosedici.

Στην 11η θέση έως τη 13η θέση τέλειωσαν το Honda του Johann Zarco (LCR), του Luca Marini (HRC) και του Joan Mir.
