Tibor Pleiss is officially a Panathinaikos player.

Club 1908 officially announced the acquisition of Tibor Pleiss from Panathinaikos AKTOR, with the German coming to strengthen the greens in the center position.

The former Efes tall (he also collaborated there with Ataman) arrived in Athens on Tuesday on behalf of the club and explained that his goal is to win titles again playing for the Turkish coach.

Tibor Pleiss was born on November 2, 1989 in the city of Bergisch Gladbach, Germany, is 2.21 m tall and plays in the "5" position.

He began his career with RheinEnergie Köln, with whom he won the German Cup in 2007.

In 2009, he moved to Brose Bamberg, with whom he averaged 8.2 points and 5.7 rebounds in the EuroCup and 6.6 points and 5.9 rebounds in the EuroLeague. He played with the German club for three years (from 2009 to 2012), celebrating the victory of the Champion title in each of them (2010, 2011 & 2012), as well as the German Cup (2010, 2011 & 2012).

During his time with Brose Bamberg, he was twice named to the Bundesliga's All-Five Team (2011, 2012) and twice as the best young player (2010 & 2011).

From 2012 to 2014, he played for Baskonia, where he averaged 8.4 points and 4.6 rebounds per game in the EuroLeague, followed by FC Barcelona, ​​where he averaged 5.3 points and 3.9 rebounds per game in the top European club competition.

In 2015-2016, he moved to the NBA with the Utah Jazz, with whom he made his debut on October 30, 2015. He also played in the G-League with their affiliate team, the Idaho Stampede.

In 2016-2017 he was in Galatasaray competing for the first time under the guidance of Ergin Ataman, having 7.7 points and 4.6 rebounds in the EuroLeague, while the following season (2017-2018) in Valencia Basket with 10.1 points and 5.2 rebounds in the EuroLeague.

From 2018 to 2024 he competed in Anadolu Efes Istanbul again under the guidance of Ergin Ataman, celebrating winning the EuroLeague title twice (2021, 2022), the title of Champion in Turkey three times (2019, 2021, 2023) as well as the Turkish Cup (2022), being the MVP of the final.

With the Turkish club's jersey, he recorded 8.2 points and 3.6 rebounds on average in 185 appearances in the EuroLeague.

In total, in his 13 years of presence in the EuroLeague, he has 336 appearances with 8 points and 4.2 rebounds on average.

This season, he wore the Trapani Shark jersey in the Italian Lega Basket.

Tibor Plais was an international with the German National Team, competing with the colors of his country's national team at EuroBasket 2009, 2011, 2013 and 2015, as well as at the 2010 World Cup.

Από το Club 1908 ανακοινώθηκε και επίσημα η απόκτηση του Τίμπορ Πλάις από τον Παναθηναϊκό AKTOR, με τον Γερμανό να έρχεται να ενισχύσει τους πράσινους στη θέση του σέντερ.

Ο πρώην ψηλός της Εφές (συνεργάστηκε και εκεί με τον Αταμάν) έφτασε στην Αθήνα την Τρίτη για λογαριασμό του τριφυλλιού και εξήγησε πως στόχος είναι να κατακτήσει ξανά τίτλους παίζοντας για τον Τούρκο προπονητή.

Η ΚΑΕ Παναθηναϊκός AKTOR ανακοινώνει την απόκτηση του Τίμπορ Πλάις μέχρι το τέλος της σεζόν 2024-2025.

Ο Τίμπορ Πλάις γεννήθηκε στις 2 Νοεμβρίου 1989 στην πόλη Μπέργκις Γκλάντμπαχ της Γερμανίας, έχει ύψος 2.21 μ. και αγωνίζεται στη θέση "5".

Ξεκίνησε την καριέρα του από τη RheinEnergie Köln με την οποία αναδείχθηκε Κυπελλούχος Γερμανίας το 2007.

Το 2009 μετακόμισε την Brose Bamberg, με την οποία 8.2 πόντους και 5.7 ριμπάουντ στο EuroCup και 6.6 πόντους και 5.9 ριμπάουντ στην EuroLeague. Με τον γερμανικό σύλλογο αγωνίστηκε για τρία χρόνια (από το 2009 έως το 2012), πανηγυρίζοντας την κατάκτηση του τίτλου του Πρωταθλητή σε κάθε μία εξ αυτών (2010, 2011 & 2012), όπως επίσης του Κυπέλλου Γερμανίας (2010, 2011 & 2012).

Στα χρόνια που φόρεσε τη φανέλα της Brose Bamberg επελέγη δύο φορές στην καλύτερη πεντάδα της Bundesliga (2011, 2012) και ακόμη δύο φορές ως ο καλύτερος νέος παίκτης (2010 & 2011).

Από το 2012 έως το 2014 φόρεσε τη φανέλα της Baskonia με την οποία είχε 8.4 πόντους και 4.6 ριμπάουντ ανά αγώνα στην EuroLeague, ενώ ακολούθως εκείνη της FC Barcelona με την οποία είχε 5.3 πόντους και 3.9 ριμπάουντ κατά μέσο όρο στην κορυφαία ευρωπαϊκή διασυλλογική διοργάνωση.

Το 2015-2016 μετακόμισε στο ΝΒΑ για λογαριασμό των Utah Jazz, με τους οποίους έκανε ντεμπούτο στις 30 Οκτωβρίου 2015. Επίσης, αγωνίστηκε στη G-League με τη θυγατρική τους ομάδας, τους Idaho Stampede.

Το 2016-2017 βρέθηκε στη Galatasaray αγωνιζόμενος για πρώτη φορά υπό τις οδηγίες του Εργκίν Αταμάν, έχοντας 7.7 πόντους και 4.6 ριμπάουντ στην EuroLeague, ενώ την επόμενη σεζόν (2017-2018) στη Valencia Basket με 10.1 πόντους και 5.2 ριμπάουντ στην EuroLeague.

Από το 2018 έως το 2024 αγωνίστηκε στην Anadolu Efes Istanbul ξανά υπό την καθοδήγηση του Εργκίν Αταμάν, πανηγυρίζοντας δύο φορές την κατάκτηση του τίτλου της EuroLeague (2021, 2022), τρεις φορές τον τίτλο του Πρωταθλητή στην Τουρκία (2019, 2021, 2023) όπως επίσης το Κύπελλο Τουρκίας (2022), όντας μάλιστα ο MVP του τελικού.

Με τη φανέλα του τουρκικού συλλόγου κατέγραψε 8.2 πόντους και 3.6 ριμπάουντ κατά μέσο όρο σε 185 συμμετοχές στην EuroLeague.

Συνολικά, στα 13 χρόνια παρουσίας του στη EuroLeague μετρά 336 συμμετοχές με 8 πόντους και 4.2 ριμπάουντ κατά μέσο όρο.
