Baltakos: "Next week the decision for Poyet"

The president of the EPO, Takis Baltakos, in his radio interview emphasized that the issue of Poyet's stay or not will be taken up next week while he repeated the data available for the final of the Betsson Greek Cup after the meeting on Thursday (28/3) .

Takis Baltakos gave an interview on Thessaloniki radio a few hours after the conclusion of the meeting at the EPO for the Betsson Hellenic Cup final.

In this the president of the federation also referred to the issue of Gustavo Poyet's stay or not in the Greek National Team and noted that everything will be clarified in a week. Takis Baltakos was a guest on Metropolis 95.5 and the show Trito Imichrono and emphasized among other things.

Regarding the issue of coach in the Greek National Team:

"Normally this would be a matter for the new management of EPO, but since there is a friendly game with Germany in June, Greece cannot go without a coach on the bench. The official games of our representative group are in the first week of September against Finland , so our national team must have a stable and confident coach even before the friendly against Germany. Of course, if Mr. Poget stays then nothing changes. Next week there will be a meeting of the EPO Executive Committee to decide what it will be done with the subject of a coach on the bench of Greece''.

As for the Greek Cup, he said:

"EPO is obliged to comply with the announcement of the Cup. The announcement is clear, when one team comes from Thessaloniki and the other from Athens, the venue is in Volos.

After the 2022 final between PAOK and Panathinaikos at the OAKA, PAOK requested that when one team is from Athens and the other from Thessaloniki, it is not possible to move 20,000 people to Athens and on the other side to travel only 500 meters.

We heard this request and made the decision that when there will be one team from Thessaloniki and one from Athens then the Cup final will be held in Volos because it is a stadium that meets the conditions for such a match. If the new law did not come out then the field would be ready.

Now, the stadium also needs cameras and an electronic ticket and that is why the match between Volos and Kifissia will be played without people because it does not have everything that is needed according to the new law. Volos could not know from 2022 that the law will change.

Before the new law, Panthessaliko was suitable for competitions. For the cameras that Panthessaliko needs, the amount is not large, but for the installation of the electronic ticket, it is enough. I don't know if there is time and both can be installed so that this year's Cup final can be held with the presence of fans of both teams at Panthessalikos.

To understand the amounts, if there are 5 cameras in the stadium, 50,000 euros are needed. The police are asking for a lot of cameras both inside and around the stadium.

Time is the problem, not so much the financial issue. Panthessaliko does not belong to EPO, but to the municipality of Volos. That is why it is a good idea to ask the Municipality of Volos and Mr. Beo.

As for the request of Panathinaikos, the green PAE stressed that if 11,000 tickets are given to each team then the final should be better behind closed doors because it is afraid of incidents because with the new law... if the lid falls on the stadium you will be punished - you saw what happened to PAOK - and thus Panathinaikos is afraid of not carrying a punishment for the new season. With the current data, the final will take place in Volos behind closed doors.

Regarding the OAKA that you are telling me and Aris to change his mind and accept a change of seat, I want to point out that the OAKA is not ready either. OAKA has turnstiles, but no cameras.

The new law came out after the policeman was killed. After today's meeting, even if there are no ups and downs, the Cup final between Aris and Panathinaikos will take place in Volos and without people, period and dash".

Ο πρόεδρος της ΕΠΟ, Τάκης Μπαλτάκος, σε ραδιοφωνική του συνέντευξη τόνισε πως το θέμα της παραμονής ή μη του Πογέτ θα ληφθεί την επόμενη εβδομάδα ενώ επανέλαβε τα δεδομένα που υπάρχουν για τον τελικό του Κυπέλλου Ελλάδας Betsson μετά τη σύσκεψη της Πέμπτης (28/3).

Συνέντευξη σε ραδιόφωνο της Θεσσαλονίκης παραχώρησε ο Τάκης Μπαλτάκος λίγες ώρες μετά την ολοκλήρωση της σύσκεψης στην ΕΠΟ για τον τελικό Κυπέλλου Ελλάδας Betsson.

Σε αυτή ο πρόεδρος της ομοσπονδίας αναφέρθηκε και στο θέμα παραμονής ή μη του Γκουστάβο Πογέτ στην Εθνική Ελλάδας και σημείωσε πως όλα θα ξεκαθαρίσουν σε μια εβδομάδα. Ο Τάκης Μπαλτάκος φιλοξενήθηκε στο Metropolis 95,5 και την εκπομπή Τρίτο Ημίχρονο και τόνισε μεταξύ άλλων.

Για το θέμα προπονητή στην Εθνική Ελλάδας:

"Κανονικά αυτό θα ήταν θέμα της καινούργιας διοίκησης της ΕΠΟ αλλά επειδή ακολουθεί ένα φιλικό παιχνίδι με την Γερμανία τον Ιούνιο δεν μπορεί η Ελλάδα να πάει χωρίς προπονητή στον πάγκο. Οι επίσημοι αγώνες του αντιπροσωπευτικού μας συγκροτήματος είναι την πρώτη εβδομάδα του Σεπτεμβρίου με αντίπαλο την Φινλανδία, οπότε η Εθνική μας πρέπει να έχει έναν σταθερό και σίγουρο προπονητή ακόμα και πριν το φιλικό με την Γερμανία. Βέβαια, αν μείνει ο κ. Πογέτ τότε δεν αλλάζει κάτι. Την άλλη εβδομάδα θα πραγματοποιηθεί σύσκεψη της Εκτελεστικής Επιτροπής της ΕΠΟ για να αποφασιστεί τι θα γίνει με το θέμα προπονητή στον πάγκο της Ελλάδας''.

Όσο για το Κύπελλο Ελλάδας τόνισε:

"Η ΕΠΟ είναι υποχρεωμένη να τηρήσει την προκήρυξη του Κυπέλλου. Η προκήρυξη είναι σαφής, όταν μία ομάδα προέρχεται από τη Θεσσαλονίκη και η άλλη από την Αθήνα, το γήπεδο διεξαγωγής είναι στον Βόλο.

Μετά τον τελικό του 2022 ανάμεσα στον ΠΑΟΚ και τον Παναθηναϊκό στο ΟΑΚΑ, ο ΠΑΟΚ ζήτησε όταν μία ομάδα είναι από την Αθήνα και η άλλη από τη Θεσσαλονίκη δεν γίνεται να μετακινείται 20.000 κόσμος στην Αθήνα και από την άλλη πλευρά να κάνουν μόλις 500 μέτρα.

Το ακούσαμε αυτό το αίτημα και πήραμε την απόφαση ότι όταν θα είναι μία ομάδα από τη Θεσσαλονίκη και μία από την Αθήνα τότε ο τελικός Κυπέλλου θα γίνεται στον Βόλο γιατί είναι ένα γήπεδο που πληροί τις προϋποθέσεις για έναν τέτοιο αγώνα. Αν δεν έβγαινε ο νέος νόμος τότε το γήπεδο θα ήταν έτοιμο.

Τώρα, το γήπεδο χρειάζεται και κάμερες και ηλεκτρονικό εισιτήριο και γι΄ αυτό ο αγώνας του Βόλου με την Κηφισιά θα γίνει χωρίς κόσμο γιατί δεν έχει όλα αυτά που χρειάζονται σύμφωνα πάντα με τον νέο νόμο. Ο Βόλος δεν μπορούσε να ξέρει από το 2022 ότι θα αλλάξει ο νόμος.

Πριν τον νέο νόμο το Πανθεσσαλικό ήταν κατάλληλο για αγώνες. Για τις κάμερες που χρειάζεται το Πανθεσσαλικό δεν είναι μεγάλο το ποσό, αλλά για την εγκατάσταση του ηλεκτρονικού εισιτηρίου είναι αρκετά. Δεν ξέρω αν ο χρόνος είναι υπαρκτός και μπορούν να εγκατασταθούν και τα δύο ώστε να μπορέσει ο φετινός τελικός Κυπέλλου να γίνει με παρουσία φιλάθλων και των δύο ομάδων στο Πανθεσσαλικό.

Για να καταλάβετε για τα ποσά αν οι κάμερες είναι 5 στο γήπεδο χρειάζονται 50.000 ευρώ. Η αστυνομία ζητάει πάρα πολλές κάμερες τόσο εντός όσο και περιμετρικά του γηπέδου.

Ο χρόνος είναι το πρόβλημα, δεν είναι τόσο οικονομικό το ζήτημα. Το Πανθεσσαλικό δεν ανήκει στην ΕΠΟ, αλλά στον δήμο Βόλου. Γι΄ αυτό είναι καλό αυτά να τα ρωτήσετε στον Δήμο Βόλου και τον κ. Μπέο.

Όσον αφορά για το αίτημα του Παναθηναϊκού, η πράσινη ΠΑΕ τόνισε ότι αν δοθούν 11.000 εισιτήρια σε κάθε ομάδα τότε ο τελικός να γίνει καλύτερα κεκλεισμένων γιατί φοβάται για επεισόδια γιατί με το νέο νόμο... καπάκι να πέσει στο γήπεδο τιμωρείσαι-είδατε τι έγινε με τον ΠΑΟΚ-και έτσι ο Παναθηναϊκός φοβάται να μην κουβαλάει τιμωρία για τη νέα σεζόν. Με τα τωρινά δεδομένα ο τελικός θα γίνει στον Βόλο κεκλεισμένων των θυρών.

Για το ΟΑΚΑ που μου λέτε και ο Άρης να αλλάξει γνώμη και να δεχθεί αλλαγή έδρας θέλω να επισημάνω ότι ούτε το ΟΑΚΑ δεν είναι έτοιμο. Το ΟΑΚΑ έχει τουρνικέ, αλλά δεν έχει κάμερες.

Ο νέος νόμος βγήκε μετά την δολοφονία του αστυνομικού. Μετά την σημερινή σύσκεψη κι αν δεν έρθουν τα πάνω κάτω ο τελικός Κυπέλλου μεταξύ Άρη και Παναθηναϊκού θα γίνει στον Βόλο και χωρίς κόσμο, τελεία και παύλα".
