NBA: The Jazz "park" Markkanen until the end of the season

Lauri Markkanen is experiencing shoulder discomfort, and the Jazz decided not to take any chances by announcing that he will be out until the end of the regular season.

The Jazz will be without Lauri Markkanen until the end of the regular season. The Finnish forward has been feeling discomfort in his right shoulder - which he has a weakness for - with Utah notifying him that he will be out for two weeks, until the regular season finale.

Markkanen this season has 23.2 points, 8.2 rebounds and 2 assists average with 39.9% on three-pointers in 33 minutes of participation, being the first scorer and second rebounder of the "Mormons". From the All Star Weekend onwards, however - with the Jazz clearly tanking - it was not a priority to... force their star, until the specific ailments that put him out of action came.

Ο Λάουρι Μάρκανεν αισθάνεται ενοχλήσεις στον ώμο και οι Τζαζ αποφάσισαν να μην ρισκάρουν, γνωστοποιώντας ότι δεν θα αγωνιστεί μέχρι το τέλος της κανονικής περιόδου.

Χωρίς τον Λάουρι Μάρκανεν θα αγωνιστούν οι Τζαζ μέχρι το τέλος της κανονικής περιόδου. Ο Φινλανδός φόργουορντ αισθάνθηκε ενοχλήσεις στον δεξιό ώμο - στον οποίο έχει ευπάθεια - με την Γιούτα να γνωστοποιεί ότι θα μείνει εκτός για δύο εβδομάδες, δηλαδή μέχρι το φινάλε της regular season.

Ο Μάρκανεν την φετινή σεζόν έχει 23.2 πόντους, 8.2 ριμπάουντ και 2 ασίστ μέσο όρο με 39.9% στα τρίποντα σε 33 λεπτά συμμετοχής, όντας ο πρώτος σκόρερ και δεύτερος ριμπάουντερ των "Μορμόνων". Από το All Star Weekend και μετά όμως - με τους Τζαζ να κάνουν ξεκάθαρα tanking - δεν ήταν προτεραιότητα να... ζοριστεί ο σταρ τους, μέχρι να έρθουν οι συγκεκριμένες ενοχλήσεις που τον έθεσαν και εκτός δράσης.
