Spanoulis: Coach of the Month for March in the BCL

Peristeri bwin completed the great comeback by securing qualification to the quarter-finals of the Basketball Champions League and Vassilis Spanoulis was named Coach of the Month for March.

Vassilis Spanoulis led Peristeri bwin to the eight best teams of the Basketball Champions League, although the "blue and yellow" began their duties in the Top-16 with a record of 0-3.

Now the team from the western suburbs will play the qualification to the Final 4 in a best-of-three series with Bonn, and Spanoulis was named Coach of the Month in the competition for March.

Three straight wins against Karsijaka, Hapoel Jerusalem and Tenerife sent the bwin Dove into the quarter-finals and also earned the national coach the title of BCL Coach of the Month.

Το Περιστέρι bwin ολοκλήρωσε το μεγάλο comeback εξασφαλίζοντας την πρόκριση στα προημιτελικά του Basketball Champions League και ο Βασίλης Σπανούλης αναδείχτηκε Προπονητής του Μήνα τον Μάρτιο.

Ο Βασίλης Σπανούλης οδήγησε το Περιστέρι bwin στις οκτώ καλύτερες ομάδες του Basketball Champions League μολονότι οι «κυανοκίτρινοι» άρχισαν τις υποχρεώσεις τους στο Top-16 με ρεκόρ 0-3.

Πλέον η ομάδα των δυτικών προαστίων θα παίξει την πρόκριση στο Final 4 σε σειρά best-of-three με τη Βόννη και ο Σπανούλης αναδείχτηκε Προπονητής του Μήνα στη διοργάνωση για τον Μάρτιο.

Οι τρεις διαδοχικές νίκες απέναντι στην Καρσίγιακα, τη Χάποελ Ιερουσαλήμ και την Τενερίφη έστειλαν το Περιστέρι bwin στα προημιτελικά και παράλληλα έδωσαν στον ομοσπονδιακό προπονητή τον τίτλο του Κόουτς του Μήνα στο BCL.
