The Bucks continue to look for ways to improve before the trade deadline (8/2) and according to American reports they are looking in the direction of Andrew Wiggins.

Andrew Wiggins is one of the players the Bucks are considering moving ahead of the trade deadline (8/2), according to a report by "Yahoo! Sports."

The Canadian forward has been hammered by the Warriors, with Milwaukee one of the teams considering a move. However, in order to get him, they will need to... empty their bench.

The reason is that Wiggins is expected to collect $24 million under contract this season. In order for the Bucks to reach that number, they would have to include Bobby Portis, Pat Connaughton and Cam Payne in a possible package, as well as possibly the second-round pick they have in hand for the 2024 NBA Draft.

As it becomes clear, the price is quite high, especially when you consider that this season Wiggins is in a slump, having the worst numbers of his career. On the other hand, of course, the prospect of adding a two-way forward with championship experience makes sense, since the Canadian would solve many of the "Deer's" defensive problems.

This season, Wiggins is averaging 12.2 points, 4.2 rebounds and 1.5 assists in 27 minutes of play.

Οι Μπακς συνεχίζουν να ψάχνουν τρόπους για να βελτιωθούν πριν από την trade deadline (8/2) και σύμφωνα με αμερικανικά δημοσιεύματα κοιτάζουν προς την πλευρά του Άντριου Γουίγκινς.

Ο Άντριου Γουίγκινς είναι ένας από τους παίκτες που σκέφτονται να κάνουν κίνηση οι Μπακς ενόψει της trade deadline (8/2) σύμφωνα με δημοσίευμα του "Yahoo! Sports".

Ο Καναδός φόργουορντ έχει βγει στο... σφυρί από τους Γουόριορς, με το Μιλγουόκι να είναι μία από τις ομάδες που σκέφτονται να κάνουν κίνηση. Για να καταφέρουν ωστόσο να τον αποκτήσουν, θα χρειαστεί να... αδειάσουν τον πάγκο τους.

Ο λόγος είναι ότι ο Γουίγκινς αναμένεται να εισπράξει βάσει συμβολαίου 24 εκατ. δολάρια την φετινή σεζόν. Προκειμένου έτσι να φτάσουν οι Μπακς σε αυτό το νούμερο, θα πρέπει να συμπεριλάβουν σε ένα πιθανό πακέτο τους Μπόμπι Πόρτις, Πατ Κόνατον και Καμ Πέιν, αλλά και ενδεχομένως το πικ δεύτερου γύρου που έχουν στα χέρια τους ενόψει του NBA Draft 2024.

Όπως γίνεται σαφές, το τίμημα είναι αρκετά μεγάλο, ειδικά αν συνυπολογίσει κανείς ότι την φετινή σεζόν ο Γουίγκινς βρίσκεται σε πτώση, έχοντας τους χειρότερους αριθμούς της καριέρας του. Από την άλλη πλευρά βέβαια, η προοπτική της προσθήκης ενός two-way φόργουορντ με εμπειρία πρωταθλητισμού είναι λογικό να εξιτάρει, αφού ο Καναδός θα έλυνε πολλά από τα αμυντικά προβλήματα των "Ελαφιών".

Την φετινή σεζόν ο Γουίγκινς έχει 12.2 πόντους, 4.2 ριμπάουντ και 1.5 ασίστ μέσο όρο σε 27 λεπτά συμμετοχής.
