Caicedo put an end to the transfer rumors and renewed with Brighton
Brighton announced the renewal of its partnership with Moises Caicedo, putting an end to the scenarios of his departure.
Moises Caicedo has renewed his contract with Brighton until the summer of 2027, putting an end to rumors of him leaving the English club.
The 21-year-old midfielder from Ecuador had been put in the fridge by his team in recent months after rumors of his departure, while he himself had publicly expressed (through his post on Social Media) his desire to leave in the transfer window of last January, when several leading clubs both inside (Arsenal, Chelsea) and outside England were interested in joining him in their roster.
At Brighton since the winter of 2021, Caicedo has made 35 appearances with them scoring 2 goals, while also spending a season on loan at Belgium and Birsot.

Την ανανέωση της συνεργασίας της με τον Μόιζες Καϊσέδο ανακοίνωσε η Μπράιτον, βάζοντας τέλος στα σενάρια αποχώρησής του.
Το συμβόλαιό του με την Μπράιτον έως το καλοκαίρι του 2027 ανανέωσε ο Μόιζες Καϊσέδο, βάζοντας τέλος στις φήμες περί αποχώρησής του από τον αγγλικό σύλλογο.
O 21χρονος μέσος από το Εκουαδόρ είχε μπει στο... ψυγείο από την ομάδα του τους τελευταίους μήνες μετά τις φήμες περί αποχώρησής του, ενώ και ο ίδιος είχε εκφράσει δημόσια (μέσω ανάρτησής του στα Social Media) την επιθυμία του να αποχωρήσει στη μεταγραφική περίοδο του περασμένου Ιανουαρίου, όταν είχαν ενδιαφερθεί για να τον εντάξουν στο ρόστερ τους αρκετοί κορυφαίοι σύλλογοι τόσο εντός (Άρσεναλ, Τσέλσι), όσο και εκτός Αγγλίας.
Στην Μπράιτον από τον χειμώνα του 2021, ο Καϊσέδο έχει πραγματοποιήσει μαζί της 35 εμφανίσεις με 2 γκολ, ενώ πέρασε και μία σεζόν ως δανεικός στο Βέλγιο και την Μπίρσοτ.
