Danny Agbelis was born on March 14, 1990 in Washington DC, USA. has a height of 2.06 and played at Collin College (NYCAA - 2008–2010) and Hampton University (NCAA - 2010–2012). He started his professional career in Iran with Esteghlal Qeshm (2012-13) and continued in Uruguay with Union Atletica (2013) and Wanderers Paysandu (2013-14).

At the beginning of 2014 he first came to Europe and the Spanish CB Guadalajara, followed by the Spanish Club Ourense Baloncesto (2014) and Gipuzkoa Basket (2015-16 and 2017-18), the Italian Enel Brindisi (2016-17), the French Pau-Orthez (2017), while in 2015 he had come to our country on behalf of Rethymno, where he had offered his services for two months, without, finally, playing in the Basket League.

He returned to Greece in 2018 and initially played in Holargos (2018-19). In that season (2018-19) he emerged first in rebounds (202) and cuts (52), 2nd in evaluation (366) and 4th scorer (242) of the team of Holargos, while he was the first in cuts (48) and 3rd in rebounds (185) throughout the Basketball League. The following year (2019-20) he played for Kolossos, averaging 9.8 points, 5 rebounds, 0.9 assists and 1.3 steals, while he was 3rd in cuts (26) throughout the league.

After the Colossus, he remained in the Basket League for the third year in a row, as he agreed with Prometheus (2020-2021). With Patras in 34 games of the championship, he averaged 7.94 points, 4.65 rebounds and 1.44 steals in 17.8 minutes of participation. While, in the Eurocup with Prometheus in 10 games he had an average of 9.2 points, 4.8 rebounds and 1.7 steals in 21.1 minutes of participation.

This season (2021-2022) he played in the Liga Endesa (ACB) with Coosur Real Betis with which in 16 games he averaged 2.31 points and 2.75 rebounds in 10.6 minutes of participation.

Η ΚΑΕ Περιστέρι Vitabiotics ανακοινώνει τη συμφωνία της με τον αθλητή Ντάνι Αγκμπελίς (32χρ., 2.06), ο οποίος θα φοράει τη φανέλα του συλλόγου μέχρι το τέλος της αγωνιστικής περιόδου 2021-2022.

Το βιογραφικό του

Ο Ντάνι Αγκμπελίς γεννήθηκε στις 14η Μαρτίου 1990 στην Washington DC των Η.Π.Α. έχει ύψους 2.06 και αγωνίστηκε στα Collin College (ΝJCAA – 2008–2010) και Hampton University (ΝCAA – 2010–2012). Ξεκίνησε την επαγγελματική του καριέρα στο Ιράν με την Esteghlal Qeshm (2012-13) και συνέχισε στην Ουρουγουάη στις Union Atletica (2013) και Wanderers Paysandu (2013-14).

Στις αρχές του 2014 πρωτοήρθε στην Ευρώπη και στην ισπανική CB Guadalajara και ακολούθησαν οι ισπανικές Club Ourense Baloncesto (2014) και Gipuzkoa Basket (2015-16 και 2017-18), η ιταλική Enel Brindisi (2016-17), η γαλλική Pau-Orthez (2017), ενώ το 2015 είχε έρθει στη χώρα μας για λογαριασμό του Ρεθύμνου, στο οποίο είχε προσφέρει τις υπηρεσίες του για δύο μήνες, χωρίς, τελικά, ν’ αγωνιστεί στη Basket League.

Επέστρεψε στην Ελλάδα στο 2018 και αγωνίστηκε αρχικά στο Χολαργό (2018-19). Εκείνη την αγωνιστική περίοδο (2018-19) αναδείχθηκε πρώτος σε ριμπάουντ (202) και κοψίματα (52), 2ος σε αξιολόγηση (366) και 4ος σκόρερ (242) της ομάδας του Χολαργού, ενώ ήταν ο πρώτος σε κοψίματα (48) και 3ος σε ριμπάουντ (185) σε όλη την Βasket League. Την επόμενη χρονιά (2019-20) αγωνίστηκε στον Κολοσσό, έχοντας κατά μέσο όρο 9.8 πόντους, 5 ριμπάουντ, 0.9 ασίστ και 1.3 κoψίματα, ενώ ήταν 3ος σε κοψίματα (26) σε όλο το πρωτάθλημα.

Μετά τον Κολοσσό, παρέμεινε και τρίτο σερί χρόνο στην Basket League, καθώς συμφώνησε με τον Προμηθέα (2020-2021). Με τους Πατρινούς σε 34 αγώνες του πρωταθλήματος είχε 7.94 πόντους μέσο όρο, 4.65 ριμπάουντ και 1.44 κοψίματα σε 17.8 λεπτά συμμετοχής.
