Εκείνη την περίοδο απλά χαίρονταν οι συμπολίτες τους δεν πήραν το Champions League. Που νά 'ξεραν όμως οι οπαδοί της Έβερτον ότι θα μετάνιωναν πικρά που τραγουδούσαν για τη Ρεάλ...
Ο Κάρλο Αντσελότι έπειτα από τη δουλειά που έκανε στα «ζαχαρωτά» καταφέρνοντας να στρώσει την αγγλική ομάδα, την αφήνει... στα κρύα του λουτρού επιστρέφοντας επίσημα στην Ρεάλ Μαδρίτης έπειτα από έξι χρόνια.
Στον σύλλογο του Μέρσεϊσαϊντ δεν το περίμενα αυτό και δεν μπορούσαν να φανταστούν τόσο άμεσες εξελίξεις, με αποτέλεσμα πλέον να ψάχνουν για τον επόμενο προπονητή.
Οι οπαδοί του συλλόγου, πάντως, δεν είχαν σκεφτεί κάτι τέτοιο όταν το 2018 τραγουδούσαν για την «βασίλισσα» που νίκησε την Λίβερπουλ στον τελικό του Champions League.
Η μοίρα τους οδήγησε να δουν τους «κόκκινους» στην κορυφή της Ευρώπης το 2019, στην κορυφή της Αγγλίας το 2020 και τώρα η Ρεάλ τους έκλεψε τον προπονητή...
