Sundgren: "Ari wants us to renew"

Daniel Sudgren mentioned his presence on Aris in an interview he gave to Sweden, while he revealed the intention of the Thessalonians to renew their cooperation.

The intention of the Mars administration to renew their cooperation was revealed by Daniel Sundgren, speaking to a well-known Swedish newspaper about his presence this season in Thessaloniki.

The player had entered the ice with the arrival of Michael Enning, but after the technical leadership of the team was taken over by Akis Magnio, he won the basic jersey again.

"When I came, two years ago, the team paid for me. That means they invest in me. In the beginning everything was perfect. The reception from the fans at the airport was fantastic. Not that I dreamed of such a thing. But then the coach and the technical director were replaced.

They were the two who chose me and then I did not have much time. I sat on the bench and honestly did not understand why. In Greece, it is enough for a team to fire the coach after losing a few games. "I believe in myself of course but I did not expect this change of data, no matter how optimistic I was," the Swedish fullback told Expressen and then spoke about his future:

"I still have a one-year contract and they told me that there is talk of a renewal. I do not read the newspapers, because I do not understand a word, but they told me that Aris wants us to renew."

Στην παρουσία του στον Άρη αναφέρθηκε ο Ντάνιελ Σούντγκρεν σε συνέντευξη που έδωσε στη Σουηδία, ενώ αποκάλυψε την πρόθεση των Θεσσαλονικέων για την ανανέωση της συνεργασίας τους.

Την πρόθεση της διοίκησης του Άρη να ανανεώσουν τη συνεργασία τους αποκάλυψε ο Ντάνιελ Σούντγκρεν, μιλώντας σε γνωστή σουηδική εφημερίδα για την παρουσία του τη φετινή σεζόν στους Θεσσαλονικείς.

Ο παίκτης είχε μπει στον… πάγο με την έλευση του Μίχαελ Ένινγκ, όμως μετά την ανάληψη της τεχνικής ηγεσίας της ομάδας από τον Άκη Μάντζιο κέρδισε ξανά τη φανέλα βασικού.

«Όταν ήρθα, πριν δύο χρόνια, η ομάδα πλήρωσε για μένα. Αυτό σημαίνει ότι επενδύουν σε μένα. Στην αρχή όλα ήταν τέλεια. Η υποδοχή από τους οπαδούς στο αεροδρόμιο ήταν φανταστική. Ούτε που ονειρευόμουν κάτι τέτοιο. Μετά όμως ο προπονητής και ο τεχνικός διευθυντής αντικαταστάθηκαν.

Ήταν οι δύο που με επέλεξαν και μετά δεν είχα πολύ χρόνο. Κάθισα στον πάγκο και ειλικρινά δεν κατάλαβα τον λόγο. Στην Ελλάδα είναι αρκετό για μία ομάδα να διώξει τον προπονητή αφού χάσει λίγα παιχνίδια. Πιστεύω φυσικά στον εαυτό μου αλλά δεν περίμενα αυτή την αλλαγή δεδομένων, όσο αισιόδοξος και να ήμουν» ανέφερε ο Σουηδός μπακ στην «Expressen» και στη συνέχεια μίλησε για το μέλλον του:

«Έχω ακόμα έναν χρόνο συμβόλαιο και μου είπαν ότι υπάρχει κουβέντα για ανανέωση Δεν διαβάζω τις εφημερίδες, γιατί δεν καταλαβαίνω ούτε λέξη, αλλά μου είπαν ότι ο Άρης θέλει να ανανεώσουμε».
