EuroLeague: Bayern's Weiler-Bab named top defender

Bayern's Nick Weiler-Bab was named the top defender of the 2024/25 EuroLeague season thanks to his performances with the Bavarians.

Bayern's Nick Weiler-Bab was named the EuroLeague's "Defender of the Year" for the 2024/25 season, the organizing authority announced.

The naturalized guard/forward (American with a German passport) has been considered one of the top defenders in the EuroLeague for years, with this award being the reward for his efforts.

This season, Wyler-Bub has 8.4 points, 4.2 rebounds (first rebounder among guards), 5 assists and 1.6 steals (first “thief” in the EuroLeague) in 27 minutes of participation.

Ο Νικ Γουάιλερ-Μπαμπ της Μπάγερν αναδείχθηκε κορυφαίος αμυντικός της σεζόν 2024/25 στην EuroLeague χάρη στις επιδόσεις του με την φανέλα των Βαυαρών.

Ο Νικ Γουάιλερ-Μπαμπ της Μπάγερν  κατέκτησε το βραβείο του “Αμυντικού της Χρονιάς” στην EuroLeague για την σεζόν 2024/25, όπως ενημέρωσε η διοργανώτρια αρχή.

Ο νατουραλιζέ γκαρντ/φόργουορντ (Αμερικανός με γερμανικό διαβατήριο) θεωρείται εδώ και χρόνια ένας από τους κορυφαίους αμυντικούς στην EuroLeague, με το συγκεκριμένο βραβείο να αποτελεί την ανταμοιβή των κόπων του.

Την φετινή σεζόν ο Γουάιλερ-Μπαμπ έχει 8.4 πόντους, 4.2 ριμπάουντ (πρώτος ριμπάουντερ ανάμεσα στους γκαρντ), 5 ασίστ και 1.6 κλεψίματα (πρώτος “κλέφτης” της EuroLeague) σε 27 λεπτά συμμετοχής.
