Στον κακό δαίμονα του Στέφανου Τσιτσιπά (Νο17) εξελίσσεται τον Απρίλιο ο Λορέντσο Μουζέτι, καθώς ο Ιταλός νίκησε με 2-0 σετ [7-5, 7-6 (3)] τον κορυφαίο Έλληνα τενίστα και μετά το Monte Carlo Masters τον απέκλεισε και από Madrid Open.

Με δύο αποκλεισμούς ολοκληρώθηκε η ημέρα (29/04) στο Madrid Open, καθώς μετά τη Μαρία Σάκκαρη (Νο82) και ο Στέφανος Τσιτσιπάς (Νο17) γνώρισε τον αποκλεισμό από το 1000άρι τουρνουά της Ισπανίας.

Ο κορυφαίος Έλληνας τενίστας ηττήθηκε για δεύτερη φορά από τον Λορέντσο Μουζέτι σε διάστημα 20 ημερών, αυτή τη φορά με 2-0 σετ [7-5, 7-6 (3)], και μετά το Monte Carlo Masters αποχαιρέτησε και το Madrid Open χάνοντας από τον 23χρονο Ιταλό.

Ο Στέφανος Τσιτσιπάς είχε τα ηνία και στα δύο σετ, όμως ένα black out στο κλείσιμο του πρώτου , που το υπέρ του 5-2 έγινε 7-5 κατά του, και τα λάθη στο tie break του δεύτερου, τον έβγαλε εκτός συνέχεια της Μαδρίτης από τη φάση των 32.

Το ματς

Ιδανικότερη αρχή δεν θα μπορούσε να φανταστεί ο Στέφανος Τσιτσιπάς, που με break μόλις στο δεύτερο game και την ταυτόχρονη υπεράσπιση των δικών του, προηγήθηκε γρήγορα το 3-0.

Ο Μουζέτι μείωσε σε 3-1, με τον κορυφαίο Έλληνα τενίστα να διατηρεί το +3 (4-1, 5-2).

Σε εκείνο το σημείο έκανε την εμφάνισή του το black out για τον Τσιτσιπά, με τον 23χρονο Ιταλό με δύο break να παίρνει το πρώτο σετ με 7-5 game.

Το δεύτερο σετ ήταν πολύ πιο ισορροπημένο από το πρώτο, με τη διάρκειά του να είναι 58 λεπτά.

Με τους δύο τενίστες να είναι πιο προσεκτικοί πήγαν χέρι-χέρι μέχρι και το 4-4, ο Τσιτσιπάς σέρβιρε στο ένατο game, έσβησε τα τέσσερα break points του Μουζέτι και πήρε εκ νέου το προβάδισμα με 5-4.

Ο Ιταλός επανήλθε με love service game για να διαμορφώσει το 5-5, με το σετ να κρίνεται εν τέλει στο tie break.

Εκεί ο Μουζέτι εκμεταλλεύτηκε κάθε λάθος του Τσιτσιπά, έφτασε σε σημείο να έχει “μαξιλαράκι” έξι match point (6-0), με τη μίνι αντεπίθεση του 26χρονου Έλληνα να σταματάει στους τρεις κερδισμένους πόντους.

Ο κακός δαίμονας του “Τσίτσι” κατέκτησε τον έβδομό του πόντο στο tie break και προκρίθηκε στους 16 του Madrid Open.
