Οι «κυανέρυθρες» νίκησαν 3-1 σετ τη Θέτιδα στη Νέα Σμύρνη στον δεύτερο μεταξύ τους αγώνα για τις θέσεις 5-6 της Volley League γυναικών και, σε συνδυασμό με τη νίκη με το ίδιο σκορ στη Βούλα στην πρώτη αναμέτρηση το περασμένο Σάββατο, έφτασε στις 2-0 νίκες και πήρε το «εισιτήριο».

Έκανε το break η ΑΕΚ, η οποία νίκησε με «περίπατο» 3-0 σετ τον Άρη στη Μίκρα κι ισοφάρισε τη σειρά μετά τη νίκη των Θεσσαλονικέων στο Ολυμπιακό Χωριό το περασμένο Σάββατο, οπότε οι δυο ομάδες θα ξεκαθαρίσουν οριστικά τους λογαριασμούς τους το ερχόμενο Σάββατο στην έδρα της Ένωση για να ξεκαθίσει ο αντίπαλος του Πανιωνίου στη μάχη για την πέμπτη προνομιούχο θέση του πρωταθλήματος.
