Οι γηπεδούχοι, ή μάλλον ο Φακούντο Καμπάσο, μπήκε σε δαιμονισμένη κατάσταση στο παιχνίδι και πέτυχε 10 πόντους στα πρώτα τρία λεπτά δίνοντας το έναυσμα στην ομάδα του, η οποία προηγήθηκε 25-19 στη λήξη της πρώτης περιόδου.

Ακολούθησε πλουραλισμός από τη βασίλισσα με πολλούς παίκτες να προσφέρουν από λίγο και να παίρνουν διψήφια διαφορά πριν την ανάπαυλα (45-35), τη στιγμή που ο Δημήτρης Ιτούδης, έβλεπε μόνο τον Μπράιαντ να είναι σε καλό βράδυ στο πρώτο μέρος.

Η ομάδα του Σκαριόλο συνέχισε στο ίδιο μήκος κύματος και στο δεύτερο μέρος φτάνοντας το +18 (63-45) λίγο μετά τα μισά του τρίτου δεκαλέπτου. Οι φιλοξενούμενοι προσπάθησαν να μειώσουν τη διαφορά σε μονοψήφια επίπεδα, όμως με τρίποντο του Φελίζ οι γηπεδούχοι ξέφυγαν ξανά με 16 πόντους (66-50) με τους κόκκινους να καταφέρνουν να μαζέψουν ως τους 11 (71-60), πριν τη λήξη της περιόδου.

Η Ρεάλ όμως δεν έδειχνε καμία διάθεση να αφήσει το παιχνίδι να γίνει διεκδικήσιμο. Οι γηπεδούχοι ανεβάζοντας ξανά ταχύτητα εκτόξευσαν τη διαφορά στους 20 (82-62) με την έναρξη της τελευταίας περιόδου.

Κάπου εκεί οι παίκτες του Σκαριόλο επέτρεψαν στον εαυτό τους να χαλαρώσουν με το τελικό 92-83 να φαίνεται μάλλον κολακευτικό για την ομάδα του Ισραήλ.
