The fans gave them love and energy and Olympiacos stepped on the turbo on Friday night (6/2). They dismantled Virtus Bologna with 109-77, with a record quarter (37 points in the second) and with pluralism in the attack.

One of the most beautiful nights of the season was that of Friday (6/2) for Olympiacos and its fans.

The Piraeus team dismantled Virtus Bologna with 109-77 for the 27th round of the EuroLeague, rising to 17-9 (10-3 home and 7-6 away) and continues on a trajectory of four in the regular season for the home advantage in the playoffs.

Giorgos Bartzokas was praised before the jump ball, but also during the match, in which the Piraeus team was overwhelming. They scored 37 points in the second period (a record for a quarter in their history in the competition) and gave their audience a unique performance.

Sasha Vezenkov (20 points, 8 rebounds, 3 assists) and Tyler Dorsey (18 points, 5 three-pointers in 20 minutes) were on fire, and everyone who stepped on the court helped make for a very hot night that was praised by everyone.

Virtus fell 12-15 (8-5 home and 4-10 away), with Dusko Ivanovic calm but very disappointed. He couldn't believe what he was seeing on the SEF court, from a team characterized by toughness and stubbornness, but which has huge ups and downs in its performance.

The MVP

Dorsey opened the second half with two three-pointers for 67-38, he also made 3/3 shots for 70-40 in the 23rd minute, the difference kept growing, it went to 39 at the end of the third with a long shot by Dorsey and Bartzokas had the opportunity to go into minute and energy management. The fourth quarter was completely procedural in nature, with the Piraeus team thinking very early about the next challenge, the Sunday match with Promitheas.

Ο κόσμος του έδωσε αγάπη και ενέργεια κι ο Ολυμπιακός πάτησε το βράδυ της Παρασκευής (6/2) το τούρμπο. Διέλυσε με 109-77 την Βίρτους Μπολόνια, με ρεκόρ δεκαλέπτου (37 πόντοι στο δεύτερο) και με πλουραλισμό στην επίθεση.

Ένα από τα πιο όμορφα βράδια της σεζόν ήταν αυτό της Παρασκευής (6/2) για τον Ολυμπιακό και για τον κόσμο του.

Η ομάδα του Πειραιά διέλυσε με 109-77 την Βίρτους Μπολόνια για την 27η αγωνιστική της EuroLeague, ανέβηκε στο 17-9 (10-3 εντός και 7-6 εκτός έδρας) και συνεχίζει σε τροχιά τετράδας στην κανονική περίοδο για το πλεονέκτημα έδρας στα playoffs.

Ο Γιώργος Μπαρτζώκας αποθεώθηκε πριν από το τζάμπολ, αλλά και κατά τη διάρκεια της αναμέτρησης, στην οποία οι Πειραιώτες ήταν σαρωτικοί. Έβαλαν 37 πόντους στη δεύτερη περίοδο (ρεκόρ δεκαλέπτου στην ιστορία τους στη διοργάνωση) και χάρισαν μία μοναδική παράσταση στο κοινό τους.

Σάσα Βεζένκοβ (20 πόντοι, 8 ριμπάουντ, 3 ασίστ) και Τάιλερ Ντόρσεϊ (18 πόντοι, 5 τρίποντα σε 20 λεπτά) ήταν on fire, όσοι πάτησαν παρκέ βοήθησαν σε μία συνολικά πολύ ζεστή βραδιά που είχε αποθέωση για όλους.

Στο 12-15 έπεσε η Βίρτους (8-5 εντός και 4-10 εκτός έδρας), με τον Ντούσκο Ιβάνοβιτς ήρεμο, αλλά πολύ απογοητευμένο. Δεν πίστευε αυτά που έβλεπε στο παρκέ του ΣΕΦ, από μία ομάδα την οποία χαρακτηρίζουν η σκληράδα και το πείσμα, αλλά έχει τεράστια σκαμπανεβάσματα στην απόδοσή της.

Ο MVP

Τάιλερ Ντόρσεϊ και Σάσα Βεζένκοβ ήταν για ακόμα μία φορά υπέροχοι. Ακαταμάχητοι. Ασυναγώνιστοι. 18 έβαλε ο πρώτος, 20 έβαλε ο δεύτερος που γέμισε τη στατιστική του. Μοιράζονται το βραβείο του πολυτιμότερου παίκτη της αναμέτρησης κι ας ήταν η αξιολόγηση του Βεζένκοβ σχεδόν διπλάσια από εκείνη του Ντόρσεϊ.

Τα στατιστικά που ξεχώρισαν

Με 23/31 σουτ (!) έκλεισε το πρώτο μέρος ο Ολυμπιακός, 14-2 ήταν οι πόντοι στον αιφνιδιασμό στο ημίχρονο. Στο τέλος της βραδιάς οι γηπεδούχοι είχαν 68.4% στο δίποντο, 46.4% στο τρίποντο και 26 ασίστ για 10 χαμένες κατοχές. 40-27 τα ριμπάουντ, όμως το πιο εντυπωσιακό νούμερο ήταν μακράν το 37-11 της δεύτερης περιόδου.

Ο αγώνας

Με Γουόκαπ, Ντόρσεϊ, Γουορντ, Βεζένκοβ, Μιλουτίνοβ άνοιξε το ματς ο Ολυμπιακός, που είχε 2/2 τρίποντα για να απαντήσει στα 2/3 της Βίρτους. Οι Ιταλοί μπήκαν καλύτερα στο ματς, κράτησαν το προβάδισμα με σκληράδα στην άμυνα, τελείωσαν τις φάσεις κοντά στο καλάθι για το 16-21 στο 8′ και ανάγκασαν τους γηπεδούχους να κάνουν τέσσερα λάθη. Ο Βεζένκοβ έβαλε μπροστά τους Πειραιώτες στο τέλος της περιόδου (24-23) και έφτασε τους 10.

Στις αρχές της δεύτερης ο Τζόσεφ με τρίποντο έγραψε το 31-25, ο Βεζένκοβ συνέχισε να σκοράρει κατά ριπάς, ο Τζόσεφ έβαλε κι άλλο μακρινό σουτ για το 39-28 στο 14′ κι ο Τζόουνς τελείωσε αιφνιδιασμό για το +13 στα μέσα της περιόδου. Τι ακολούθησε; Ένα τσουνάμι ενέργειας, για το 49-28 στο 16′, με τον Φουρνιέ να βάζει το ένα καλάθι πίσω από το άλλο. Το 61-34 του ημιχρόνου τα έλεγε όλα για την εικόνα και των δύο ομάδων. 37-11 το δεύτερο δεκάλεπτο.

Ο Ντόρσεϊ άνοιξε το β’ μέρος με δύο τρίποντα για το 67-38, έβαλε και 3/3 βολές για το 70-40 στο 23′, η διαφορά όλο και μεγάλωνε, πήγε στους 39 στο τέλος της τρίτης με μακρινό σουτ του Ντόρσεϊ και ο Μπαρτζώκας είχε την ευκαιρία να πάει σε διαχείριση λεπτών και ενέργειας. Το τέταρτο δεκάλεπτο ήταν εντελώς διαδικαστικού χαρακτήρα, με τους Πειραιώτες να σκέφτονται από πολύ νωρίς το επόμενο challenge, το κυριακάτικο ματς με τον Προμηθέα.
