Το trade deadline πλησιάζει στο ΝΒΑ και οι ομάδες προχωρούν στις τελευταίες ανταλλαγές ώστε να βελτιώσουν τα ρόστερ τους. Το πιο «καυτό» όνομα είναι αυτό του Γιάννη Αντετοκούνμπο, ο οποίος συνδέθηκε με πολλές ομάδες. Ωστόσο, τελικά θα ολοκληρώσει την σεζόν στα «Ελάφια».

Ο Σαμς Σαράνια του «ESPN» ανέφερε πως οι Μπακς έχουν ξεκαθαρίσει στους υπόλοιπους οργανισμούς πως δεν θα παραχωρήσουν τον Έλληνα αστέρα πριν το deadline. Έτσι, ο «Greek Freak» θα ολοκληρώσει τη σεζόν στο Μιλγουόκι και μένει να φανεί αν τελικά θα αποχωρήσει το καλοκαίρι.
