Nadal "erasing" a break point made it 1-0 in the 2nd set, De Minor answered with a love game and a break leading 2-1 and maintaining his serve he led 3-1. In the 5th game, Nadal led 40-15, but De Minor reached three break points, damaging the Spaniard for 4-1 and with a love game he made it 5-1 and with a new break he ended the set with 6- 1 and the match in one hour and 52 minutes.

Ο Ράφαελ Ναδάλ στο κορτ που φέρει το όνομά του ηττήθηκε από τον Αλεξ ντε Μινόρ με 2-0 και αποκλείστηκε από το τουρνουά της Βαρκελώνης.

Ο Ράφαελ Ναδάλ δεν μπόρεσε να ακολουθήσει τον ρυθμό του Αλεξ ντε Μινόρ, γνώρισε την ήττα με 2-0 και τον αποκλεισμό από το τουρνουά της Βαρκελώνης. Στο κεντρικό κορτ που φέρνει το όνομά του ο Ντε Μινόρ επικράτησε με 7-5, 6-1 και πήρε την πρόκριση.

Για τον Ναδάλ αυτή ήταν η 2η ήττα σε μόλις πέντε παιχνίδια που έχει δώσει μέσα στο 2024 και στην προσπάθεια να επανέλθει ανταγωνιστικός.

O Ντε Μινόρ στην πρώτη του ευκαιρία στο εναρκτήριο game πέτυχε break και διατηρώντας το σερβίς του έκανε το 2-0.

Ο Ναδάλ στο 3ο game από το 40-15 βρέθηκε ξανά αντιμέτωπος με νέo break point, όμως μετά το 2ο αβαντάζ μείωσε σε 2-1.

Ο Ισπανός μείωσε εκ νέου σε 3-2 και στο 6ο game δημιούργησε διπλό break point και στην πρώτη ευκαιρία τελείωσε το game για το 3-3. O Ναδάλ με love game πήρε την πρωτοπορία (4-3), με άνεση έκανε το 5-4, με τον Ντε Μινόρ να ισοφαρίζει 5-5 και στο κρίσιμο σημείο ο Αυστραλός, με οκτώ στη σειρά πόντους κατέκτησε το σετ με 7-5.

Ο Ναδάλ «σβήνοντας» break point έκανε το 1-0 στο 2ο σετ, ο Ντε Μινόρ απάντησε με love game και με break να προηγείται με 2-1 και διατηρώντας το σερβίς του προηγήθηκε με 3-1. Στο 5ο game o Ναδάλ προηγήθηκε με 40-15, όμως ο Ντε Μινόρ έφθασε σε τρία break point, κάνοντας τη ζημιά στον Ισπανό για το 4-1 και με love game έκανε το 5-1 και με νέο break τελείωσε το σετ με 6-1 και τον αγώνα σε μια ώρα και 52 λεπτά.
