Heavy defeat for Paksi in the dress rehearsal before the matches with Panathinaikos
A few days before the first match with Panathinaikos for the second qualifying round of the Conference League, Paksi suffered a heavy friendly defeat by Austria Vienna with 4-1.
Panathinaikos' opponent found itself behind early on in the score, after Austria Vienna opened the scoring in the 16th minute with Salič, with the half-time score being 1-0.
The Austrians started with goals early in the second half as well, after Fischer made it 2-0 in the 52nd minute, but Paksi responded in the 54th minute with Silje, reducing the score to 2-1.
The Hungarians, however, continued to present large defensive gaps, with Austria Vienna in the 65th and 67th minutes increasing the score to 4-1, which was the final score.
Now, Paksi turns its attention to the first match against Panathinaikos, for the second qualifying round of the Conference League, which will be held on Thursday (23/7, 21:00).

Λίγες ημέρες πριν την πρώτη αναμέτρηση με τον Παναθηναϊκό για τον δεύτερο προκριματικό γύρο του Conference League, η Πάκσι γνώρισε βαριά φιλική ήττα από την Αούστρια Βιέννης με 4-1.
Η αντίπαλος του Παναθηναϊκού βρέθηκε από νωρίς πίσω στο σκορ, αφού στο 16ο λεπτό η Αούστρια Βιέννης άνοιξε το σκορ με τον Σάλιτς, με το 1-0 να είναι το σκορ του ημιχρόνου.
Οι Αυστριακοί ξεκίνησαν με γκολ νωρίς και στο δεύτερο ημίχρονο, αφού στο 52' ο Φίσερ διαμόρφωσε το 2-0, όμως η Πάκσι απάντησε στο 54' με τον Σίλιε, μειώνοντας σε 2-1.
Οι Ούγγροι, ωστόσο συνέχισαν να παρουσιάζουν μεγάλα αμυντικά κενά, με την Αούστρια Βιέννης στο στο 65' και στο 67' να ανεβάζει τον δείκτη του σκορ στο 4-1, που ήταν και το τελικό σκορ.
Πλέον, η Πάκσι στρέφει την προσοχή της στην πρώτη αναμέτρηση με τον Παναθηναϊκό, για τον δεύτερο προκριματικό γύρο του Conference League, που θα διεξαχθεί την Πέμπτη (23/7, 21:00).
