Sylvain Francisco was born on October 10, 1997 in Créteil, France, is 1.85m tall and plays in the guard positions. In the 2025-26 season with Zalgiris Kaunas in the EuroLeague, he played in 42 games, averaging 16.5 points, 2.9 rebounds and 6.5 assists in 27:47 minutes of participation per game. In fact, he was included in the top five of the competition, while with the Lithuanian team he also won the Championship, emerging as the MVP of the finals for the second consecutive year.

He began his basketball career from the academies of Paris Basket Racing, Villemomble Sports and AL Roche-la-Moliere. In 2014, he moved to Florida, United States, where he attended Elev8 Sports Institute, Liberty Christian Preparatory School and West Oaks Academy, before returning to France to begin his professional career.

In 2017, he joined Levallois Metropolitans, with whom he signed his first professional contract. In 2018, he moved to Paris Basketball, where he played for two seasons, while in 2020 he wore the jersey of Chorale Roanne in the first division of France.

In the summer of 2021, he signed with BAXI Manresa in Spain, while a year later he was transferred to Peristeri, making excellent appearances both in domestic and European competitions. In the Greek championship, he averaged 12.6 points, 2.9 rebounds and 5.3 assists, while in the Basketball Champions League he had 16.2 points, 2.1 rebounds and 5.8 assists per game.

In the summer of 2023, he transferred to Bayern Munich and in his first season in the EuroLeague, he played in 33 games, averaging 10.6 points, 1.7 rebounds and 3.2 assists in 19:17 minutes of participation per game. With his team, he won the German Cup in 2024, being the MVP of the Final Four of the competition.

In 2024, he moved to Zalgiris Kaunas. In the 2024-25 EuroLeague season, he played in 34 games, averaging 14.6 points, 2.6 rebounds and 4.5 assists in 25:29 minutes of participation per game. With his team, he won the Lithuanian Championship and Cup in 2025, while he was named MVP of the championship finals.

At the same time, Francisco is an active member of the French National Team. In the FIBA ​​Basketball World Cup 2027 Qualifiers, he has so far averaged 13.7 points, 2 rebounds, 4 assists and 2 steals per game, shooting 53.8% on two-pointers, 50% on three-pointers and 83.3% on free throws.

Επίσημη η... τελευταία «βόμβα» του καλοκαιριού για τον Παναθηναϊκό ΑΚΤOR! Οι «πράσινοι» ανακοίνωσαν την απόκτηση του Σιλβέν Φρανσίσκο για τα επόμενα 3 χρόνια, ολοκληρώνοντας με εντυπωσιακό τρόπο το ρόστερ της σεζόν 2026-27!

Οι άνθρωποι του «επτάστερου» το κυνήγησαν πολύ και τελικά δικαιώθηκαν. Εδώ και εβδομάδες αναζητούσαν έναν πόιντ γκαρντ υψηλού επιπέδου για να κλείσουν το ρόστερ τους και το βράδυ της Τετάρτης (29/07) έριξαν τη «βόμβα» της απόκτησης του Φρανσίσκο. Ο Παναθηναϊκός πλήρωσε περίπου 1 εκατ. ευρώ για να τον αποδεσμεύσει από τη γαλλική ομάδα και του προσφέρει συμβόλαιο μέχρι το 2029, με συνολικές απολαβές που αγγίζουν τα 10 εκατ. ευρώ.
