Dinamo Zagreb's qualification over Thun for the 2nd qualifying round of the Champions League, diminishes AEK's chances of being among the strong in the playoffs draw.

The Union needed one of Dinamo Zagreb, Slovan Bratislava, Lech Poznan or Red Star not to advance to the 3rd qualifying round of the Champions League to be strong in the playoffs draw.

Dinamo Zagreb turned the match against Thun around and is the one that got the ticket for the 3rd qualifying round, so the Union is now basing its hopes on the games of Wednesday (29/7).

Τη φετινή σεζόν η ΑΕΚ θα κάνει ό,τι περνά από το χέρι της για να βρεθεί στη League Phase του Champions League.

Η Ένωση χρειαζόταν μια εκ των ν Ντινάμο Ζάγκρεμπ, Σλόβαν Μπρατισλάβας, Λεχ Πόζναν ή Ερυθρού Αστέρα να μην προχωρήσει στον 3ο προκριματικό γύρο του Champions League για να είναι ισχυρή στην κλήρωση των playoffs.

Η Ντινάμο Ζάγκρεμπ γύρισε το ματς κόντρα στην Τουν και είναι αυτή που πήρε το εισιτήριο για τον 3ο προκριματικό γύρο, άρα η Ένωση βασίζει πλέον τις ελπίδες της στα παιχνίδια της Τετάρτης (29/7).
