Η Ρίο Άβε έδειχνε να κρατά σφιχτά το τρίποντο στα χέρια της, αλλά η Σάντα Κλάρα λίγο πριν το φινάλε πήρε τον βαθμό (1-1).

Πέταξε την ευκαιρία να αναρριχηθεί στην πρώτη δεκάδα της βαθμολογίας η Ρίο Άβε. Το σύνολο του Πετίτ έδειχνε να κρατά σφιχτά το τρίποντο στα χέρια της, αλλά η Σάντα Κλάρα λίγο πριν το φινάλε πήρε τον βαθμό (1-1). Μάλιστα, οι φιλοξενούμενοι βρίσκονται στην 6η θέση και στο -1 από την 5η.

Η Ρίο Άβε ξεκίνησε με βασικούς στα στόπερ τους Ανδρέα Ντόη και Κώστα Κωστούλα, με τον δεύτερο να αγωνίζεται για παρθενική φορά με την πρώτη ομάδα. Στο αριστερό άκρο της άμυνας βρέθηκε ο επίσης δανεικός από τον Ολυμπιακό, Νέλσον Άμπι, ενώ ως αλλαγή έπαιξε από το 73’ και μετά ο Μάριος Βρουσάι, με τον Θεοφάνη Μπακούλα να παρακολουθεί το ματς από τον πάγκο.

Ο Κωστούλας «κιτρινίστηκε» στο 7ο λεπτό αλλά αυτό δεν του στάθηκε… εμπόδιο για να έχει μια θετικότατη εμφάνιση, δείχνοντας πως δικαιούται ευκαιρίες και να σταθεί στο υψηλό επίπεδο.

Συνολικά στο παιχνίδι οι φιλοξενούμενοι ήταν καλύτεροι, αλλά άστοχοι και ο Αντρέ Λουίς στο 25ο λεπτό έδωσε προβάδισμα στη Ρίο Άβε. Μάλιστα, φαινόταν πως οι γηπεδούχοι θα κρατούσαν έστω και με δυσκολία το σπουδαίο τρίποντο, αλλά η Σάντα Κλάρα βρήκε την ισοφάριση στο 85’ με τον Σίντνεϊ Λίμα, διαμορφώνοντας το τελικό αποτέλεσμα (1-1).
