In a packed house of 42,000 spectators and a "hot" "Geoffroy-Guichard", the hosts celebrated the great victory with 2-1, catching Le Havre at 27 points and reducing it to -3 from salvation! Μετά από ένα επεισοδιακό ντέρμπι, το οποίο διακόπηκε για τραυματισμό βοηθού από ρίψη αντικειμένου, η Σεντ Ετιέν επιβλήθηκε με 2-1 της Λιόν, παίρνοντας ένα σημαντικό στη μάχη της παραμονής τρίποντο!

Θριάμβευσε στο επεισοδιακό ντέρμπι της με τη Λιόν και παραμένει ζωντανή στη μάχη που δίνει για την παραμονή η Σεντ Ετιέν!

Σε ένα κατάμεστο από 42.000 θεατές και «καυτό» «Geoffroy-Guichard», οι γηπεδούχοι πανηγύρισαν την σπουδαία νίκη με 2-1, πιάνοντας τη Χάβρη στους 27 βαθμούς και μειώνοντας στο -3 από τη σωτηρία! Από την άλλη, η Λιόν, λίγες μέρες μετά τον οδυνηρό αποκλεισμό της από τη Μάντσεστερ Γιουνάιτεντ στο Europa League, έμεινε στους 51 βαθμούς και έχασε την ευκαιρία να μπει στην πρώτη τετράδα της βαθμολογίας.

Το ντέρμπι διακόπηκε για κάτι περισσότερο από μισή ώρα λίγο πριν τη λήξη του πρώτου ημιχρόνου, όταν ο βοηθός διαιτητή τραυματίστηκε στο κεφάλι του από αντικείμενο που εκτοξεύτηκε από την εξέδρα.

Οι γηπεδούχοι άνοιξαν το σκορ στο 10ο κιόλας λεπτό, όταν ο Στασέν έστειλε την μπάλα στα δίχτυα με κεφαλιά μετά από σέντρα του Πετρό, ενώ διαμόρφωσε και το 2-0 στο 67', με τρομερό του σουτ! Το μόνο που κατάφερε η Λιόν ήταν να μειώσει στο 76' με γκολ του Τέσμαν, χωρίς να μπορεί να βρει το γκολ της ισοφάρισης, παρότι πίεσε στα τελευταία λεπτά.
