Upamekano "disappeared" Haaland from the field
Dominant in Bayern's defense was the new transfer acquisition of the team, Dayo Upamekano, who managed to "erase" from the field, Erling Haaland.
Bayern started their obligations in the new season in the best way, as after the draw with Gladbach (1-1) in the premiere of the championship, they won the German Super Cup, prevailing 3-1 over Dortmund.
One of the protagonists of the fight was Dayo Upamekano. The 22-year-old French defender made it difficult for the Dortmund forwards, and even more so for Erling Haaland.
The Norwegian striker, despite all the efforts he made to "break" the opponent's defense, fell on Upamekanos. This duo had 12 duels and in 9 of them, the winner was the French stopper.

Κυρίαρχος στην άμυνα της Μπάγερν ήταν το νέο μεταγραφικό απόκτημα της ομάδας, Νταγιό Ουπαμεκανό, ο οποίος κατάφερε να «σβήσει» από τον αγωνιστικό χώρο, τον Έρλινγκ Χάαλαντ.
Η Μπάγερν ξεκίνησε με τον καλύτερο τρόπο τις υποχρεώσεις της στη νέα σεζόν, καθώς μετά την ισοπαλία με την Γκλάντμπαχ (1-1) στην πρεμιέρα του πρωταθλήματος, κατέκτησε το Σούπερ Καπ Γερμανίας, επικρατώντας με 3-1 της Ντόρτμουντ.
Ενας από τους πρωταγωνιστές του αγώνα ήταν ο Νταγιό Ουπαμεκανό. Ο 22χρονος Γάλλος αμυντικός έβαλε δύσκολα στους επιθετικούς της Ντόρτμουντ και πόσω μάλλον στον Έρλινγκ Χάαλαντ.
Ο Νορβηγός επιθετικός παρά τις όσες προσπάθειες κατέβαλε για να «σπάσει» την αντίπαλη άμυνα, έπεφτε πάνω στον Ουπαμεκανό. Το εν λόγω δίδυμο είχε 12 μονομαχίες και στις 9 εξ αυτών, νικητής βγήκε ο Γάλλος στόπερ.
