With a reversal and after 4 hours and 48 'Stefanos Tsitsipas prevailed with 3-2 sets of the fantastic Andy Murray in his premiere at the US Open and will play with Adrian Manarinos in the 2nd round.

Stefanos Tsitsipas qualified for the 2nd round of the US Open.

The Greek tennis player who is at No. 3 in the world eliminated with a double upset with 2-6, 7-6 (7), 3-6, 6-3, 6-4 the fantastic Andy Murray (No. 114) who taught tennis but bent in the final from Tsitsipas, 11 years his junior.

Andy Murray fought but was eliminated for the first time in the first round of the US Open. But he deserves the applause of everyone for his vigor, soul and tennis lessons to the younger ones.

Stefanos Tsitsipas is for the 3rd time in the 2nd round and will play on Wednesday with the Frenchman Adrian Manarino who eliminated Erber with a 3-6, 4-6, 6-4, 6-3.6-3!

Murray's great start

In the 1st set, Andy Murray will have a triple break point in the 3rd game and with the 3rd opportunity he will reach a break and 2-1. Murray serves with more than 80% in the 1st serve and goes to 3-1.

With a new break, the former No. 1 world will lead 4-1 and 5-1. Stefanos Tsitsipas will reduce to 5-2 with love service game and will erase 2 sets of points but will lose the set in 42 'with 6-2.

The Briton has 69% in points earned in the 1st serve and 78% in the 2nd. The winners are 9-6 and the effortless 7-11. Tsitsipas closes a set without reaching a break point.

The tie through tie break!

The 2nd set opens with a love service game of the Greek (1-0) and with 2 aces in the 3rd game it will reach 2-1. Tsitsipas will reach a double break point but Murray will erase it and will equalize at 2-2.

With a new love service game he goes to 3-2 and in the same way his opponent will equalize at 3-3. New love for 4-3 but Murray will have a double break point in the 9th game.

Tsitsipas will turn it off for 5-4 and again the British equalizes (5-5). He will send the set to the tie break and will lead 5-3! He will reach a double set of points (6-4) but the Greek will delete it so that he has a set of points (7-6).

He erases it but with a double error Murray gives a set of points to Tsitsipas' serve (8-7) and will take advantage of it for 7-6 (7) and 1-1 in the sets.

Andy's rule

In the 3rd set, Andy Murray will start fantastically and with a break he will reach 2-0! He will defend the break with his serve for 3-0 and Tsitsipas will reduce it to a love service game to 3-1.

Murray will erase Tsitsipa's break point with an ace in the 5th game and will erase another 2! It will go out 4th in a row again with an ace and will lead 4-1! With an ace he will close the 6th to reduce to 4-2 but the Briton will go to 5-2.

Reduces to 5-3 but will lose the set 6-3. Tsitsipas has not managed a break after 3 sets!

Break, break, draw!

After 3 hours and 16 'and with his 7th attempt, Stefanos will reach the coveted break and 2-0 in the 4th set! He will defend the break with his serve with difficulty for 3-0.

His returns are wonderful and with the 2nd break in a row he will reach 4-0! With his serve he goes to 5-0 and Murray reduces to 5-1 and reaches a triple break point!

The Briton will take back one break (5-2) and will delete break point / set points in the 8th (5-3). After 3.52 'Tsitsipas will close the set at 6-3.

The end of the duel

Stefanos Tsitsipas has a break point in the 1st game of the 5th and will take advantage of it to reach 1-0 with a break!

The Briton will have a break point in the 4th game but the Greek will turn it off for 3-1. With his service he goes to 5-3

Με ανατροπή και μετά από 4 ώρες και 48' ο Στέφανος Τσιτσιπάς επικράτησε με 3-2 σετ του φανταστικού Άντι Μάρεϊ στην πρεμιέρα του στο US Open και θα παίξει με τον Αντριάν Μαναρινό στον 2ο γύρο.

Στον 2ο γύρο του US Open προκρίθηκε ο Στέφανος Τσιτσιπάς.

Ο Έλληνας τενίστας που είναι στο Νο3 κόσμου απέκλεισε με διπλή ανατροπή με 2-6, 7-6 (7), 3-6, 6-3, 6-4 τον φανταστικό Άντι Μάρεϊ (Νο114) ο οποίος δίδαξε τένις αλλά λύγισε στο φινάλε από τον κατά 11 χρόνια νεότερο του Τσιτσιπά.

Ο Άντι Μάρεϊ πάλεψε αλλά αποκλείστηκε για πρώτη φορά σε 1ο γύρο στο US Open. Αξίζει όμως το χειροκρότημα όλων για το σθένος του, την ψυχή και τα μαθήματα τένις προς τους νεότερους.

Ο Στέφανος Τσιτσιπάς είναι για 3η φορά στον 2ο γύρο και θα παίξει την Τετάρτη με τον Γάλλο Αντριάν Μαναρινό ο οποίος απέκλεισε με ανατροπή με 3-6, 4-6, 6-4, 6-3,6-3 τον Ερμπέρ!

Το σπουδαίο ξεκίνημα του Μάρεϊ

Στο 1ο σετ, ο Άντι Μάρεϊ θα έχει τριπλό μπρέικ πόιντ στο 3ο γκέιμ και με την 3η ευκαιρία θα φτάσει σε μπρέικ και στο 2-1. Ο Μάρεϊ σερβίρει με ποσοστό μεγαλύτερο του 80% στο 1ο σερβίς και πάει στο 3-1.

Με νέο μπρέικ ο πρώην Νο1 κόσμου θα προηγηθεί με 4-1 και με 5-1. O Στέφανος Τσιτσιπάς θα μειώσει σε 5-2 με love service game και θα σβήσει 2 σετ πόιντ αλλά θα χάσει το σετ σε 42' με 6-2.

To 2o σετ ανοίγει με love service game του Έλληνα (1-0) και με 2 άσους στο 3ο γκέιμ θα φτάσει στο 2-1. Ο Τσιτσιπάς θα φτάσει σε διπλό μπρέικ πόιντ αλλά ο Μάρεϊ θα το σβήσει και θα ισοφαρίσει σε 2-2.

Με νέο love service game πάει στο 3-2 και με τον ίδιο τρόπο ο αντίπαλος του θα ισοφαρίσει σε 3-3. Νέο love για το 4-3 αλλά ο Μάρεϊ θα έχει διπλό μπρέικ πόιντ στο 9ο γκέιμ.

Θα το σβήσει ο Τσιτσιπάς για το 5-4 και πάλι ισοφαρίζει (5-5) ο Βρετανός. Θα στείλει το σετ στο τάι μπρέικ και θα προηγηθεί με 5-3! Θα φτάσει σε διπλό σετ πόιντ (6-4) αλλά θα το σβήσει ο Έλληνας για να έχει εκείνος σετ πόιντ (7-6).

Το σβήνει αλλά με διπλό σφάλμα ο Μάρεϊ δίνει σετ πόιντ στο σερβίς (8-7) του Τσιτσιπά και θα το εκμεταλλευτεί για το 7-6 (7) και το 1-1 στα σετ.

Η κυριαρχία του Άντι

Στο 3ο σετ ο Άντι Μάρεϊ θα ξεκινήσει φανταστικά και με μπρέικ θα φτάσει στο 2-0! Θα υπερασπιστεί το μπρέικ με το σερβίς του για το 3-0 και ο Τσιτσιπάς θα μειώσει σε love service game σε 3-1.

Ο Μάρεϊ θα σβήσει με άσο το μπρέικ πόιντ του Τσιτσιπά στο 5ο γκέιμ και θα σβήσει και άλλα 2! Θα σβήσει και 4ο στη σειρά πάλι με άσο και θα προηγηθεί με 4-1! Με άσο θα κλείσει το 6ο για να μειώσει σε 4-2 αλλά ο Βρετανός θα πάει στο 5-2.

Μειώνει σε 5-3 αλλά θα χάσει το σετ με 6-3. Ο Τσιτσιπάς δεν έχει πετύχει μπρέικ μετά από 3 σετ!

Μπρέικ, μπρέικ, ισοφάριση!

Μετά από 3 ώρες και 16' και με την 7η προσπάθεια του ο Στέφανος θα φτάσει στο πολυπόθητο μπρέικ και στο 2-0 στο 4ο σετ! Θα υπερασπιστεί το μπρέικ με το σερβίς του με δυσκολία για το 3-0.

Οι επιστροφές του είναι θαυμάσιες και με 2ο μπρέικ στη σειρά θα φτάσει στο 4-0! Με το σερβίς του πάει στο 5-0 και ο Μάρεϊ μειώνει σε 5-1 και φτάνει σε τριπλό μπρέικ πόιντ!

Ο Βρετανός θα πάρει πίσω το ένα μπρέικ (5-2) και θα σβήσει μπρέικ πόιντ/σετ πόιντ στο 8ο (5-3). Μετά από 3.52' ο Τσιτσιπάς θα κλείσει το σετ στο 6-3.

Ο επίλογος της μονομαχίας

Ο Στέφανος Τσιτσιπάς έχει μπρέικ πόιντ στο 1ο γκέιμ του 5ου και θα το εκμεταλλευτεί για να φτάσει στο 1-0 με μπρέικ!

Ο Βρετανός θα έχει μπρέικ πόιντ στο 4ο γκέιμ αλλά ο Έλληνας θα το σβήσει για το 3-1. Με το σερβίς του πάει στο 5-3
