Erling Haaland will stay at the Etihad for the rest of 10 seasons as the 24-year-old striker has signed a new contract with the Citizens which will run until the summer of 2035. The Norwegian star's earnings will be unprecedented in the Premier League, confirming his manager's claims that the amount he will receive will exceed 1 billion in total euro.
More specifically, Haaland will receive from Manchester City almost 600,000 euros on a weekly basis, a figure that can be increased even more by the bonuses provided for in his new contract.
This is the biggest deal the club has made with their player, with the international centre-forward naturally becoming their highest paid footballer. Kevin De Bruyne has been the biggest earner at the Citizens so far, earning €480,000 a week.
