Official: Manchester City "tied" Guardiola!
Pep Guardiola and Manchester City continue together until the summer of 2025.
Match motion from City! The Citizens have joined hands with Pep Guardiola and the Catalan coach remains at the blue side of Manchester until the summer of 2025.
The new... marriage of the two sides was made official today (23/11), with City "binding" the - considered by many - the world's best coach.
Pep Guardiola has changed the status of the "Citizens", counting four championships and a total of twelve trophies in recent years.
After the announcement of the deal, the Catalan coach declared that he was excited to remain on the Island, while giving the signal for new successes.
“I am so happy to stay for another two years. It is not enough to thank everyone at the club for their trust. I am happy and comfortable here. I have everything I need to do my job as well as possible. I feel that we have a lot more to achieve and that's why I want to stay and continue to fight for trophies", he said in the announcement.

Ο νέος… γάμος των δυο πλευρών επισημοποιήθηκε σήμερα (23/11), με τη Σίτι να «δένει» τον -κατά πολλούς- κορυφαίο προπονητή του κόσμου.
Ο Πεπ Γκουαρντιόλα έχει αλλάξει το status των «Πολιτών», μετρώντας τέσσερα πρωταθλήματα και συνολικά δώδεκα τρόπαια τα τελευταία χρόνια.
Μετά την ανακοίνωση του deal, ο Καταλανός τεχνικός δήλωσε ενθουσιασμένος που παραμένει στο Νησί, ενώ έδωσε το σύνθημα για νέες επιτυχίες.
«Είμαι τόσο χαρούμενος που θα μείνω για άλλα δύο χρόνια. Δεν είναι αρκετό το ευχαριστώ σε όλους στον σύλλογο για την εμπιστοσύνη τους. Είμαι χαρούμενος κι άνετος εδώ. Έχω ό,τι χρειάζομαι για να κάνω τη δουλειά μου όσο το δυνατόν καλύτερα. Αισθάνομαι ότι έχουμε πολλά περισσότερα να καταφέρουμε και γι’ αυτό θέλω να μείνω και να συνεχίσω να παλεύω για τρόπαια», ανέφερε χαρακτηριστικά στην ανακοίνωση.
