Williams: Finally Latifi

Williams and Nicolas Latifi will go their separate ways from 2023, as announced by the British team on social media.

Williams Racing is expected to announce his replacement soon, with Mick Schumacher, Nick de Vries and Logan Sargent among the candidates.

For the "goodbye" Williams posted the following announcement: "Williams Racing and Nicholas Latifi will part ways at the end of 2022. We would like to thank Nicky for his commitment and hard work over the last 3 years and his we wish him the best in the continuation of his career."

For his part, the 27-year-old Iranian-Canadian driver said: “Well, I'm parting ways with Williams at the end of the season. I am honored to have represented her for the past three years. A big thank you to the whole team, it was an awesome trip and I enjoyed every second of it. I am determined to end 2022 on a positive note. Six games left."

Χωριστούς δρόμους θα ακολουθήσουν από το 2023 Williams και Νίκολας Λατίφι, όπως ανακοίνωσε η βρετανική ομάδα στα social media.

Η Williams Racing αναμένεται να ανακοινώσει σύντομα τον αντικαταστάτη του και μεταξύ των υποψηφίων βρίσκονται οι Μικ Σουμάχερ, Νικ Ντε Βρις και Λόγκαν Σάρτζεντ.

Για το «αντίο» τοποθετήθηκε η Wiliams με την παρακάτω ανακοίνωση: «Οι δρόμοι της Williams Racing και του Nicholas Latifi θα χωρίσουν στο τέλος του 2022. Θα θέλαμε να ευχαριστήσουμε τον Nicky για την δέσμευση και τη σκληρή του δουλειά τα τελευταία 3 χρόνια και του ευχόμαστε ότι καλύτερο στη συνέχεια της καριέρας του».

Aπό την πλευρά του ο 27χρονος Ιρανοκαναδός πιλότος ανέφερε: «Λοιπόν, χωρίζω τους δρόμους μου με τη Williams στο τέλος της σεζόν. Με τιμά που την εκπροσώπησα τα τελευταία τρία χρόνια. Ένα μεγάλο ευχαριστώ σε όλη την ομάδα, ήταν ένα τρομερό ταξίδι και απόλαυσα κάθε δευτερόλεπτο. Είμαι αποφασισμένος να τελειώσω το 2022 θετικά. Έξι αγώνες έμειναν».
