Alba Berlin announced the signing of the New Zealand former Baskonia player, Yanni Wetzel.
Yanni Wetzel moved from Baskonia to Alba Berlin, with the German team announcing the acquisition of the tall New Zealander (26 years old, 2.08 meters).
Wetzel made a mid-season move to Baskonia after completing their EuroLeague obligations with the aim of strengthening them in the Spanish league. The Basques informed that their collaboration will not continue, with Alba wasting no time and making it her own.

Από την Μπασκόνια στην Άλμπα Βερολίνου μετακόμισε ο Γιάνι Γουέτζελ, με την γερμανική ομάδα να ανακοινώνει την απόκτηση του Νεοζηλανδού ψηλού (26 χρονών, 2.08 μέτρα).
Ο Γουέτζελ πήγε στα μέσα της σεζόν στην Μπασκόνια, μετά από την ολοκλήρωση των υποχρεώσεών της στην EuroLeague με στόχο να την ενισχύσει στο ισπανικό πρωτάθλημα. Οι Βάσκοι ενημέρωσαν πως δεν θα συνεχιστεί η συνεργασία τους, με την Άλμπα να μην χάνει χρόνο και να τον κάνει δικό της.
