Real wants to "tie" Benzema
Real Madrid wants to keep Karim Benzema on its roster and will offer him a contract extension until 2023.
Real Madrid sees Karim Benzema's contract expire in the summer of 2022 and that is why they will seek to reach an agreement with the French striker for an extension until 2023.
Benzema has been with the "Queen" since 2009, when he moved from Lyon for 35 million euros. In the "merengues" he has celebrated four Champions Leagues, three championships, two cups, three Super Cups of Spain and Europe, as well as four World Club Championships.
He has played 559 times for Real, scoring 279 goals and sharing 144 assists. Last year was the second best in his tenure in the Spanish capital in terms of the championship, as he scored 23 goals, a performance that is only 24 behind the 2015-16 season.
Real Madrid saw Sergio Ramos leave this summer and does not want to lose Benzema next year. Discussions are expected to begin in the near future, as there is no rush on this issue.

Η Ρεάλ Μαδρίτης θέλει να κρατήσει τον Καρίμ Μπενζεμά στο ρόστερ της και θα του προτείνει επέκταση συμβολαίου μέχρι το 2023.
Η Ρεάλ Μαδρίτης βλέπει το συμβόλαιο του Καρίμ Μπενζεμά να εκπνέει το καλοκαίρι του 2022 και γι΄αυτό θα επιδιώξει να έρθει σε συμφωνία με τον Γάλλο επιθετικό για επέκταση μέχρι το 2023.
Ο Μπενζεμά βρίσκεται στην «Βασίλισσα» από το 2009, όταν και μετακινήθηκε από την Λυών έναντι 35 εκατομμυρίων ευρώ. Στους «μερένγκες» έχει πανηγυρίσει τέσσερα Champions League, τρία πρωταθλήματα, δύο κύπελλα, τρία Σούπερ Καπ Ισπανίας και Ευρώπης, όπως επίσης και τέσσερα Παγκόσμια Πρωταθλήματα Συλλόγων.
Έχει αγωνιστεί 559 φορές με την φανέλα της Ρεάλ, σκοράροντας 279 γκολ και μοιράζοντας 144 ασίστ. Η περσινή του χρονιά ήταν η δεύτερη καλύτερη στην θητεία του στην ισπανική πρωτεύουσα αναφορικά με το πρωτάθλημα, καθώς σημείωσε 23 γκολ, επίδοση που υπολείπεται μόνο των 24 της σεζόν 2015-16.
Η Ρεάλ Μαδρίτης είδε τον Σέρχιο Ράμος να αποχωρεί το φετινό καλοκαίρι και δεν θέλει να χάσει και τον Μπενζεμά το επόμενο. Οι συζητήσεις αναμένεται να ξεκινήσουν το προσεχές διάστημα, καθώς δεν υπάρχει βιασύνη στο συγκεκριμένο θέμα.
