PAS Giannina announced the 28-year-old Galeano as its new coach

In agreement with Ariel Galeano, PAS Giannina came to take over the position of coach.

PAS Giannina's discussions with Ariel Galeano ended in... a wedding. The Epirotes announced their agreement with the only 28-year-old coach who started his career on the benches at the age of 20, as an assistant at Sol de America.

This will be Galeano's first time in charge of a team from Europe having previously coached teams from Latin America.

"PAE PAS Giannina 1966 announces the start of cooperation with coach Ariel Galeano.

The 28-year-old Paraguayan technician began his career on the bench at the age of 20, taking his first job as an assistant coach at Sol de America in 2016. The following year, he found himself as an assistant coach on the bench of Sportivo Trinidad to be followed by Deportivo Liberacion as and River Plate Asuncion.

In June 2019, he took on his maiden job as head coach, taking over the technical leadership of Fulgencio Yegros. In September of the same year he left Fulgencio Yegros to return to River Plate Asuncion.

In December 2020 after the removal of Carlos Aitor Garcia he was promoted to the position of coach until the end of the season.

In January 2021, he took over coaching in the academies of one of the biggest teams in the country, Club Libertad, which counts 25 titles.

The big bang though would come in 2023 when on September 21 when then Libertad coach Daniel Garnero moved to the Paraguay national team with Ariel Galeano taking over until the end of the season. In November 2023, he made history when, at the age of just 27, he became the youngest manager to win a Paraguayan championship after winning the 2023 Torneo Clausura to be followed by both the 2023 Copa Paraguay and the Super Copa of the same year.

The temporary became permanent and in December 2023, he renewed his contract and the reward came in June 2024 with Club Libertad winning another Torneo Apertura 2024 title.

He has a total of 54 games on the bench in all Latin American competitions having coached Club Libertad in both the prestigious Copa Libertadores and Copa Sudamericana.

In Ariel Galeano's staff will be an old acquaintance, David Meza who wore the shirt of our team in the 2008-09 season and will be his direct partner at PAS Ioannina.

The trainer will be the 43-year-old Argentine Alejandro Martin Foglia with a career in the Bolivian national team, Banfield, The Strongest and Soldier de America.

Finally, 41-year-old Paraguayan Miguel Angel Lara Fragnaud will assume the role of analyst.

Σε συμφωνία με τον Αριέλ Γκαλεάνο ήρθε ο ΠΑΣ Γιάννινα για να αναλάβει το πόστο του προπονητή.

Σε… γάμο κατέληξαν οι συζητήσεις του ΠΑΣ Γιάννινα με τον Αριέλ Γκαλεάνο. Οι Ηπειρώτες ανακοίνωσαν την συμφωνία τους με τον μόλις 28 ετών προπονητή ο οποίος ξεκίνησε την καριέρα του στους πάγκους σε ηλικία 20 ετών, ως βοηθός στη Sol de America.

Αυτή θα είναι η πρώτη φορά που ο Γκαλεάνο αναλαμβάνει μια ομάδα από την Ευρώπη έχοντας μέχρι τώρα προπονήσει ομάδες από την Λατινική Αμερική.

«Η ΠΑΕ ΠΑΣ Γιάννινα 1966 ανακοινώνει την έναρξη της συνεργασίας με τον προπονητή Ariel Galeano.

Ο 28χρονος Παραγουανός τεχνικός ξεκίνησε από την ηλικία των 20 ετών την καριέρα του στους πάγκους αναλαμβάνοντας την πρώτη του δουλειά ως βοηθός προπονητή στην Sol de America το 2016. Την επόμενη χρονιά βρέθηκε ως assistant coach στον πάγκο της Sportivo Trinidense για να ακολουθήσει η Deportivo Liberacion καθώς και η River Plate Asuncion.

Τον Ιούνιο του 2019 ανέλαβε την παρθενική του δουλειά ως πρώτος προπονητής αναλαμβάνοντας την τεχνική ηγεσία της Fulgencio Yegros. Τον Σεπτέμβριο του ίδιου χρόνου αποχώρησε από την Fulgencio Yegros για να επιστρέψει στην River Plate Asuncion.

Τον Δεκέμβριο του 2020 μετά την απομάκρυνση του Carlos Aitor Garcia προβιβάστηκε στην θέση του προπονητή μέχρι το τέλος της σεζόν.

Τον Ιανουάριο του 2021 ανέλαβε προπονητής στις ακαδημίες σε μία από τις μεγαλύτερες ομάδες της χώρας την Club Libertad η οποία μετράει 25 τίτλους.

Το μεγάλο μπαμ όμως θα ερχόταν το 2023 όταν στις 21 Σεπτεμβρίου όταν ο τότε προπονητής της Libertad, Daniel Garnero, μετακόμισε στην εθνική Παραγουάης με τον Ariel Galeano να αναλαμβάνει μέχρι το τέλος της σεζόν. Το Νοέμβριο του 2023 έγραψε ιστορία αφού σε ηλικία μόλις 27 ετών, έγινε ο νεότερος προπονητής που κερδίζει πρωτάθλημα Παραγουάης μετά την κατάκτηση του Torneo Clausura 2023 για να ακολουθήσουν τόσο το Copa Paraguay 2023 καθώς και το Super Copa της ίδιας χρονιάς.

Ο προσωρινός έγινε μόνιμος και τον Δεκέμβριο του 2023, ανανέωσε το συμβόλαιο του και η επιβράβευση ήρθε τον Ιούνιο του 2024 με την Club Libertad να κερδίζει άλλο ένα τίτλο το Torneo Apertura 2024.

Συνολικά μετράει 54 αγώνες στους πάγκους σε όλες τις διοργανώσεις της Λατινικής Αμερικής έχοντας κοουτσάρει την Club Libertad τόσο στο διάσημο Copa Libertadores όσο και στο Copa Sudamericana.

Στο επιτελείο του Ariel Galeano θα βρίσκεται ένας παλιός γνώριμος, ο David Meza ο οποίος είχε φορέσει τη φανέλα της ομάδας μας την σεζόν 2008-09 και θα είναι ο άμεσος συνεργάτης του στον ΠΑΣ Γιάννινα.

Γυμναστής θα είναι ο 43χρονος Αργεντινός Alejandro Martin Foglia με καριέρα στην εθνική Βολιβίας, την Banfield, την The Strongest καθώς και την Soldier de America.

Τέλος, ο 41χρονος Παραγουανός Miguel Angel Lara Fragnaud θα επωμιστεί τον ρόλο του αναλυτή.
