Athens Kallithea: Renewed Manthatis and Marotas

Athens Kallithea announced the renewal of its partnership with Giorgos Manthatis and Nikolas Marotta.

Two of the protagonists of Athens Kallithea's return to the top division of Greek football continue in "El Paso". The Southern Suburbs team announced the renewal of its partnership with Giorgos Manthatis and Nikolas Marotta.

The Greek right back-midfielder has been with the team for the last 2.5 years and has made 56 appearances, including 26 last season. For the same position that Athens Kallithea's vice-captain is fighting for, international Finnish Piri Soiri has been acquired.

For his part, the Argentine stopper was acquired last season with 27 appearances and two goals. Triantafyllos Pasalidis has been acquired for the center of the defense and the Venezuelan Joshua Mejias, who has a contract, continues.

“Athens Kallithea FC announces that wingback Giorgos Manthatis and central defender Nicolás Marotta have agreed to renew their contracts with the club until the 2024/25 season.

Manthatis and Marotta were key contributors to the team's promotion to the Super League.

Manthatis, 27, joined AKFC in January 2022 and has made 56 appearances for the club over the past three seasons, including 26 appearances with one goal and one assist during last year's promotion run, while also serving as the team's deputy captain.

Manthatis is a former international with the small National teams and emerged from the academy in the first team of Olympiakos, with whom he won the Super League championship in the 2016/17 season.

Marotta, 27, joined AKFC in September 2023 and made 27 appearances in his first season with the club, scoring crucial goals along the way - a late-game winner against Kalamata in December and the goal that decided promotion in the competition against Chania in May.

Before joining AKFC, the Argentine defender had performances from the first divisions of Bolivia, Peru, and Colombia."

Η Athens Kallithea ανακοίνωσε την ανανέωση της συνεργασίας της με τον Γιώργο Μανθάτη και τον Νικολάς Μαρότα.

Δυο από τους πρωταγωνιστές της επιστροφής της Athens Kallithea στην κορυφαία κατηγορία του ελληνικού ποδοσφαίρου συνεχίζουν στο «Ελ Πάσο». Η ομάδα των Νοτίων Προαστίων ανακοίνωσε την ανανέωση της συνεργασίας της με τον Γιώργο Μανθάτη και τον Νικολάς Μαρότα.

H Έλληνας δεξιός μπακ - χαφ βρίσκεται στην ομάδα τα τελευταία 2,5 χρόνια και μετράει 56 εμφανίσεις, εκ των οποίων τις 26 την περσινή σεζόν. Για την ίδια θέση που αγωνίζεται ο υπαρχηγός της Athens Kallithea έχει αποκτηθεί και ο διεθνής Φινλανδός Πίρι Σοΐρι.

Από την πλευρά του ο Αργεντινός στόπερ αποκτήθηκε την περασμένη σεζόν με 27 εμφανίσεις και δυο γκολ. Για το κέντρο της άμυνας έχει αποκτηθεί ο Τριαντάφυλλος Πασαλίδης και συνεχίζει και ο Βενεζουελάνος Τζόσουα Μεχίας, ο οποίος έχει συμβόλαιο.

«Η Athens Kallithea FC ανακοινώνει ότι ο wingback Γιώργος Μανθάτης και ο κεντρικός αμυντικός Nicolás Marotta έχουν συμφωνήσει για ανανέωση συμβολαίου με την ομάδα έως τη σεζόν 2024/25.

Οι Μανθάτης και Marotta ήταν βασικοί συντελεστές της ανόδου της ομάδας στη Super League.

Ο Μανθάτης, 27, εντάχθηκε στην AKFC τον Ιανουάριο 2022 και μετράει 56 συμμετοχές με την ομάδα τις τελευταίες τρεις σεζόν, συμπεριλαμβανομένων 26 συμμετοχών με ένα γκολ και μία ασίστ κατά την περσινή κούρσα ανόδου, ενώ διετέλεσε και αναπληρωτής αρχηγός της ομάδας.

Ο Μανθάτης είναι πρώην διεθνής με τις μικρές Εθνικές ομάδες και αναδείχθηκε από την ακαδημία στην πρώτη ομάδα του Ολυμπιακού, με τον οποίο κατέκτησε το πρωτάθλημα της Super League τη σεζόν 2016/17.

Ο Marotta, 27, εντάχθηκε στην AKFC τον Σεπτέμβριο 2023 και κατέγραψε 27 συμμετοχές στην πρώτη του σεζόν με την ομάδα, σημειώνοντας κρίσιμα γκολ στην πορεία - ένα νικητήριο γκολ στο τέλος του αγώνα με την Καλαμάτα τον Δεκέμβριο και το γκολ που έκρινε την άνοδο στον αγώνα εναντίον των Χανίων τον Μάιο.

Προτού ενταχθεί στην AKFC, o Αργεντίνος αμυντικός είχε παραστάσεις από τις πρώτες κατηγορίες της Βολιβίας, του Περού, και της Κολομβίας».
