Jokic: "If we were in Serbia, they would have fired us all"
Nikola Jokic showed his disappointment over the Nuggets' elimination and revealed his loyalty to the team.
The wolves bit the Nuggets and ended their NBA season. Minnesota beat the Nuggets 110-98, making it 4-2 in the series and thus booked a ticket to the next round of the playoffs.
After the end of the game, Nikola Jokic spoke at the press conference and uttered a terrible sentence.
"We lost in the first round. We were too far away. If changes are needed? It's not my decision, if we were in Serbia, they would have fired us all," he initially said.
The Serbian center is available for a four-year, $293 million extension this summer and has indicated that he wants to stay in Denver. "I want to be a Nuggets player forever."

Ο Νίκολα Γιόκιτς έδειξε την απογοήτευση του για τον αποκλεισμό των Ναγκετς και φανέρωσε την αφοσίωση του στην ομάδα.

Μετά το τέλος του ματς ο Νίκολα Γιόκιτς μίλησε στη συνέντευξη Τύπου και ξεστόμισε μια φοβερή ατάκα.
«Χάσαμε στον πρώτο γύρο. Ήμασταν πολύ μακριά. Αν χρειάζονται αλλαγές; Δεν είναι δική μου απόφαση, αν ήμασταν στη Σερβία θα μας είχαν απολύσει όλους», είπε αρχικά.
Ο Σέρβος σέντερ είναι διαθέσιμος για τετραετή επέκταση 293 εκάτ. δολαρίων το καλοκαίρι και έδειξε πως θέλει να μείνει στο Ντένβερ. «Θέλω να είμαι για πάντα παίκτης των Νάγκετς».
