Sinner continues his impressive course in 2026, reaching three titles in the year, after his successes at the Indian Wells Masters and the Miami Open. At the same time, this is his first title in a clay Masters 1000.

In the world rankings, Sinner is now at the top with 13,350 points and an impressive 22-game winning streak (with just one lost set), while Alcarath follows with 13,240 points.

The first set was highly competitive and lasted approximately 75 minutes. Alcarath led with a break (2-0), but Sinner reacted immediately, equalizing at 2-2 and gradually taking control. Despite the missed break opportunities, he managed to prevail at the crucial point and win the set 7-6(5).

In the second set, the Italian found himself behind again (1-3), but from that point on he completely dominated. With five consecutive games, he turned the situation around and "sealed" his victory after 2 hours and 15 minutes of play.

Στο δεύτερο σετ, ο Ιταλός βρέθηκε ξανά πίσω (1-3), αλλά από εκείνο το σημείο και μετά κυριάρχησε πλήρως. Με πέντε συνεχόμενα games, ανέτρεψε την κατάσταση και «σφράγισε» τη νίκη του έπειτα από 2 ώρες και 15 λεπτά αγώνα.
