Alan Ibrahimović guided Germany for the third game as head coach, after Alex Mūbrū was unable to sit on his team's bench due to his adventure with an infection.

The Germans started the game strong and took a 12-point lead at the end of the first period (20-32, 10′), with the Lithuanians reducing the gap at halftime (47-55), but seeing Schrüder hit a three-pointer midway through the third period and increase the “distance” between the two teams to 19 points (60-79, 26′). His team simplified its task in the rest of the match and celebrated its third consecutive victory.

Η ομάδα του απλοποίησε το έργο της στη συνέχεια του αγώνα και πανηγύρισε την τρίτη σερί νίκη.
