Apollon Smyrnis declares participation in the 3rd National Team

Apollo Smyrnis is expected to take part in the 3rd National Team of the new season.

On Wednesday, the non-participation of Apollon Smyrnis in Super League 2 was finalized, as the team did not declare participation. After the departure of Panagiotis Monemvasiotis from PAE, no investor was found to take over the "Light Brigade".

The historic team will now, through the Amateur, be organized to take part in the 3rd National Championship. The administration of GS Apollon will declare participation in the championship of the national amateur category, with the aim of being the star and by the next summer to find a solution in the administration, in order to return the team to the professional categories.

At the EPO they were waiting for the developments in Super League 2, regarding the declarations of participation and possible gaps, so they will include Apollon in the 3rd National Team, with Iuchta receiving an invitation to participate in SL2.

Ο Απόλλων Σμύρνης αναμένεται να λάβει μέρος στη Γ’ Εθνική της νέας σεζόν.

Την Τετάρτη οριστικοποιήθηκε η μη συμμετοχή του Απόλλωνα Σμύρνης στη Super League 2, καθώς δεν δήλωσε συμμετοχή η ομάδα. Μετά την αποχώρηση του Παναγιώτη Μονεμβασιώτη από την ΠΑΕ, δεν βρέθηκε επενδυτής για να αναλάβει την «Ελαφρά Ταξιαρχία».

Η ιστορική ομάδα πλέον, μέσω του Ερασιτέχνη, θα οργανωθεί για να λάβει μέρος στη Γ’ Εθνική. Η διοίκηση του ΓΣ Απόλλων θα δηλώσει συμμετοχή στο πρωτάθλημα της εθνικής ερασιτεχνικής κατηγορίας, με στόχο να πρωταγωνιστήσει και έως το επόμενο καλοκαίρι να βρει μια λύση στα διοικητικά, προκειμένου να επιστρέψει η ομάδα στις επαγγελματικές κατηγορίες.

Στην ΕΠΟ περίμεναν τις εξελίξεις στη Super League 2, αναφορικά με τις δηλώσεις συμμετοχής και τα ενδεχόμενα κενά, οπότε θα εντάξει τον Απόλλωνα στην Γ’ Εθνική, με τον Γιούχτα να λαμβάνει πρόσκληση συμμετοχής στην SL2.
