Και δεν ήταν οι μόνοι, μιας και πολλές προσωπικότητες του αθλήματος έδωσαν το παρών στις εξέδρες, ο ΝτεΜάρ ΝτεΡόζαν, ο Άντονι Ντέιβις, αλλά και ο Ντουέιν Ουέιντ.
Η ομάδα της Μπριάνα Στιούαρτ επιβλήθηκε απέναντι σε αυτή της Άτζα Γουίλσον με 143-127 και την Τζιούελ Λόιντ να κάνει ρεκόρ με τους 31 πόντους που πέτυχε.
Στο ματς αγωνίστηκε και η Μπρίτνεϊ Γκράινερ, η οποία είχε χάσει την περσινή έκδοση, ούσα φυλακισμένη στη Ρωσία.
