Exum: To Mavericks with second year non-guaranteed
Dante Exum has agreed to terms with the Dallas Mavericks to return to the NBA, but the second year of the deal is not guaranteed.
Dante Exum got what he wanted. After... a two-year exile in Europe in Barcelona and Partizan he got the opportunity he was looking for to return to the NBA.
The Dallas Mavericks have announced the deal for the next two years, but in the early hours it became known that the contract of 6.1 million dollars also has an asterisk.
The Mavericks have only guaranteed him the first year of the deal ($3 million), with the second non-guaranteed, meaning Dallas can release him without paying him a cent.
