The Belgian striker has impressed with his performances in this year's Ligue 1 championship (21 goals in 38 appearances) and has long been in the transfer target of the "bulls", who are getting closer and closer to his acquisition.
That's at least according to media reports in France, who revealed that Leipzig's latest offer for the 23-year-old reached €43m, along with some bonuses.
An offer that Lance will hardly say no to, with the final deal only looking like a matter of time, while Openda himself has already agreed a five-year contract with the Bundesliga side.

Ο Βέλγος επιθετικός εντυπωσίασε με τις εμφανίσεις του στο φετινό πρωτάθλημα της Ligue 1 (21 γκολ σε 38 εμφανίσεις) και βρίσκεται εδώ και καιρό στο μεταγραφικό στόχαστρο των «ταύρων», οι οποίοι πλησιάζουν ολοένα και περισσότερο στην απόκτησή του.
Αυτό τουλάχιστον αναφέρουν δημοσιεύματα Μέσων στη Γαλλία, τα οποία αποκάλυψαν ότι η τελευταία προσφορά της Λειψίας για τον 23χρονο έφτασε τα 43 εκατ. ευρώ, μαζί με κάποια μπόνους.
Μία προσφορά στην οποία δύσκολα θα πει «όχι» η Λανς, με την τελική συμφωνία να φαντάζει απλώς θέμα χρόνου, ενώ ο ίδιος ο Οπεντά έχει ήδη συμφωνήσει για συμβόλαιο πενταετούς διάρκειας με την ομάδα της Bundesliga.
