Ο μάγος Μαρσέλο είναι εδώ και ο Ολυμπιακός είναι… στα προημιτελικά!

The magician Marcelo is here and Olympiacos is... in the quarterfinals!

The magician Marcelo... also appeared with two goals, one better than the other, he took Olympiakos by the hand and led them to a 4-1 win over Atromitos and with 1.5 legs in the quarter-finals of the Cup!

With Marcelo making an incredible goal and for the first time unfolding his talent in "Georgios Karaiskakis", Olympiacos celebrated a great home victory (4-1) against Atromitos and is now one breath away from qualifying for the quarter-finals of the Greek Cup !

The Peristerians fought with all their might, they were highly competitive in the first half, with Tzolakis keeping his "red and whites" upright. In the second half, however, Mitchell's players enchanted and thus turned the rematch (10/1) into a formality.

In the minds of the coaches:

Mitchell opted for a 4-2-3-1 with Tzolakis under the posts, Vrousai at right back and Marcelo at left. Doi and Retsos started in the stoppers, while Kasami and Embila were in the defensive midfielders. Agibu Kamara took a position on the right wing, Biel on the left, Fortounis in the role of organizer and Bakabu was the only one promoted.

Chris Coleman started the match with 4-3-3, with Gianniotis in goal and Hadjisaia-Mavrommatis in the center of defense. The left back was De Bock and the right back was Keschrida, while Kuen, Gondaleth and Fridjonsson were in front of them in a trio. Rotariou and Robaille were selected on the wings, while Kiartanson was at the top of the attack.

The match

It wasn't until the 2nd minute that Fortounis went to do the... damage to Atromitos! The Greek midfielder passed whoever he found in front of him, entered the area of Gianniotis but sent the ball out from close range! Robaille also responded to the big opportunities. The cross made from the right found the French all alone at the second post, but on the move he missed in an almost... empty net!

In the 7th minute, Biel took the ball outside the wide area, kept possession between five opponents and after... advancing a bit, sent the ball with a smart shot into the net of Gianniotis for 1-0! The answer was immediate, since in the 11th minute, after a foul by Robay at the second post, Kiartanson makes the move, catches the header beautifully and sends it into the top corner, where Tzolakis can do absolutely nothing for the 1 -1!

The next big phase came in the 30th minute with a huge intervention by Tzolakis on a shot by Romaille. The Frenchman came out tete-a-tete but the young goalkeeper took it with his feet! Bakabou was not able to turn the crosses into goals neither in the 35th nor in the 42nd... a half-goal scored by his teammates, with Tzolakis being the one who once again caught the eye, since in a new four-a- four with Robaille and the Frenchman's attempt to hang him, he chased away with both hands!

With the start of the second part, Marcelo put the glasses on everyone. The Olympiakos superstar took the ball from outside the corner of the box, took a shot with his... bad right foot and nailed the ball into the net of Gianniotis who couldn't do anything to make it 2-1 in the 50 '! In the 58th minute, after Gary's cross at the second post, Biel runs, but in the... chuck he doesn't have time to send it into the net.

Shortly after entering the match, specifically in the 63rd minute, El Arabi was in the right place at the right time, took advantage of a counterattack and made it 3-1 from close range! Before the celebrations were over, Marcelo took the ball from the left, entered the area past two defenders and with a powerful volley made it 4-1 in the 65th minute!

After this outburst, the pace was logical to drop on the part of the Piraeus. In the 70th minute, Biel missed a huge opportunity to score another goal, but the shot he made entering the area from the left, went right past the left post of Gianniotis. Atromitos also had a great moment to reduce, when De Bock took the header all alone after a corner kick in the 82nd minute, but he did not find the target from a highly advantageous position. In the 89th minute, Gianniotis made a great intervention on Hames' "lightning", while in the 90th minute, Gary could not catch the shot inside the area.

Ο μάγος Μαρσέλο… εμφανίστηκε και με δύο γκολ, το ένα καλύτερο από το άλλο, πήρε από το χέρι τον Ολυμπιακό και τον οδήγησε στο 4-1 επί του Ατρόμητου και με το 1,5 πόδι στα προημιτελικά του Κυπέλλου!

Με τον Μαρσέλο να κάνει απίθανη ματσάρα και για πρώτη φορά να ξεδιπλώνει το ταλέντο του στο «Γεώργιος Καραϊσκάκης», ο Ολυμπιακός πανηγύρισε σπουδαία εντός έδρας νίκη (4-1) κόντρα στον Ατρόμητο και είναι πλέον μια ανάσα από την πρόκριση στα προημιτελικά του Κυπέλλου Ελλάδας!

Οι Περιστεριώτες πάλεψαν με όλες τους τις δυνάμεις, ήταν άκρως ανταγωνιστικοί στο πρώτο ημίχρονο, με τον Τζολάκη να κρατά όρθιους του «ερυθρολεύκους». Στο δεύτερο ημίχρονο όμως, οι παίκτες του Μίτσελ μάγεψαν και έτσι μετέτρεψαν τη ρεβάνς (10/1) σε τυπική διαδικασία.

Στο μυαλό των κόουτς:

Ο Μίτσελ επέλεξε το 4-2-3-1 με τον Τζολάκη κάτω από τα δοκάρια, με τον Βρουσάι δεξί μπακ και Μαρσέλο αριστερό. Στα στόπερ ξεκίνησαν οι Ντόη και Ρέτσος, ενώ στα αμυντικά χαφ ήταν οι Κασάμι και Εμβιλά. Δεξιά στα εξτρέμ πήρε θέση ο Αγκιμπού Καμαρά, αριστερά ο Μπιέλ, σε ρόλο οργανωτή ο Φορτούνης και μοναδικός προωθημένος ο Μπακαμπού.

Ο Κρις Κόλμαν ξεκίνησε το ματς με τον 4-3-3, με τον Γιαννιώτη στην εστία και τους Χατζησαϊα-Μαυρομμάτη στο κέντρο της άμυνας. Αριστερό μπακ ήταν ο Ντε Μποκ και δεξί ο Κεσχρίντα, ενώ σε τριάδα μπροστά τους βρέθηκαν οι Κούεν, Γκονθάλεθ και Φριντζόνσον. Στα εξτρέμ επιλέχθηκαν οι Ροτάριου και Ρομπάιγ, ενώ στην κορυφή της επίθεσης ο Κιάρτανσον.

Το ματς

Μόλις στο 2’ ο Φορτούνης πήγε να κάνει τη… ζημιά στον Ατρόμητο! Ο Έλληνας μεσοεπιθετικός πέρασε όποιον βρήκε μπροστά του, μπήκε στην περιοχή του Γιαννιώτη αλλά από κοντινή απόσταση έστειλε τη μπάλα άουτ! Στις μεγάλες ευκαιρίες απάντησε και ο Ρομπάιγ. Η σέντρα που έγινε από τα δεξιά βρήκε ολομόναχο τον Γάλλο στο δεύτερο δοκάρι, αλλά πάνω στην κίνηση αστόχησε σε σχεδόν... κενή εστία!

Στο 7’ ο Μπιέλ πήρε τη μπάλα έξω από τη μεγάλη περιοχή, κράτησε την κατοχή ανάμεσα σε πέντε αντιπάλους και αφού... προχώρησε λίγο, έστειλε με έξυπνο σουτ τη μπάλα στα δίχτυα του Γιαννιώτη για το 1-0! Η απάντηση ήταν άμεση, αφού στο 11’, μετά απ εκτέλεση φάουλ του Ρομπάιγ στο δεύτερο δοκάρι, ο Κιάρτανσον κάνει την κίνηση, πιάνει πανέμορφα την κεφαλιά και την στέλνει στην πάνω γωνία, εκεί που ο Τζολάκης δεν μπορεί να κάνει απολύτως τίποτα για το 1-1!

Η αμέσως επόμενη μεγάλη φάση ήρθε στο 30’ με τεράστια επέμβαση του Τζολάκη σε σουτ του Ρομπάιγ. Ο Γάλλος βγήκε τετ-α-τετ αλλά ο νεαρός γκολκίπερ το έβγαλε με τα πόδια! Ο Μπακαμπού δεν μπόρεσε ούτε στο 35’ αλλά ούτε στο 42’ να μετουσιώσει σε γκολ τις σέντρες… μισό-γκολ που του έβγαλαν οι συμπαίκτες του, με τον Τζολάκη να είναι αυτός που τράβηξε και πάλι τα βλέμματα, αφού σε νέο τετ-α-τετ με τον Ρομπάιγ και προσπάθεια του Γάλλου να τον κρεμάσει, έδιωξε με τα δύο χέρια!

Με το ξεκίνημα του δευτέρου μέρους, ο Μαρσέλο έβαλε τα γυαλιά σε όλους. Ο super star του Ολυμπιακού πήρε τη μπάλα έξω από τη γωνία της μεγάλης περιοχής, έπιασε ένα σουτ με το... κακό του πόδι το δεξί και κάρφωσε τη μπάλα στα δίχτυα του Γιαννιώτη που δεν μπορούσε να κάνει τίποτα για το 2-1 στο 50’! Στο 58’ μετά από σέντρα του Γκάρι στο δεύτερο δοκάρι, ο Μπιέλ τρέχει αλλά στο... τσακ δεν προλαβαίνει να τη στείλει στα δίχτυα.

Λίγο μετά την είσοδό του στο ματς και συγκεκριμένα στο 63’, ο Ελ Αραμπί βρέθηκε στο κατάλληλο μέρος την κατάλληλη στιγμή, εκμεταλλεύτηκε μια κόντρα και έκανε το 3-1 από κοντά! Πριν καλά καλά κοπάσουν οι πανηγυρισμοί, ο Μαρσέλο πήρε τη μπάλα από αριστερά, μπήκε μέσα στην περιοχή περνώντας δύο αμυντικούς και με δυνατό βολέ έκανε το 4-1 στο 65’!

Μετά από αυτό το ξέσπασμα, ο ρυθμός ήταν λογικό να πέσει από πλευράς των Πειραιωτών. Ο Μπιέλ στο 70' έχασε τεράστια ευκαιρία για να πετύχει ένα ακόμα γκολ, όμως το σουτ που έκανε μπαίνοντας στην περιοχή από αριστερά, πέρασε ξυστά από το αριστερό δοκάρι του Γιαννιώτη. Ο Ατρόμητος είχε και αυτός μια μεγάλη στιγμή για να μειώσει, όταν ο Ντε Μποκ πήρε ολομόναχος την κεφαλιά μετά εκτέλεση κόρνερ στο 82', όμως δεν βρήκε στόχο από άκρως πλεονεκτική θέση. Ο Γιαννιώτης στο 89' έκανε σπουδαία επέμβαση σε «κεραυνό» του Χάμες, ενώ στο 90'ο Γκάρι δεν μπόρεσε να πιάσει το σουτ εντός περιοχής.
