Van der Faart: "Zille is the German... Maguire"
After Germany's elimination from the World Cup, van der Faart harshly criticized Zille, comparing him to Maguire.
On the occasion of Germany's elimination from the group stage at the World Cup in Qatar, Raphael van der Vaart has severely criticized Germany's defense, even comparing Niklas Zille to Manchester United's Maguire.
The veteran ace of Real, Ajax and Holland said:
"Germany has a big problem in its defense. Niklas Zille is not a world-class footballer, he is the German Harry Maguire."

Μετά τον αποκλεισμό της Γερμανίας από το Μουντιάλ ο Φαν Ντερ Φάαρτ άσκησε σκληρή κριτική στον Ζίλε παρομοιάζοντας τον με τον Μαγκουάιρ.
Με αφορμή τον αποκλεισμό της Γερμανίας από τη φάση των ομίλων στο Μουντιάλ του Κατάρ ο Ράφαελ Φαν Ντερ Φάαρτ άσκησε δριμεία κριτική στην άμυνα της Γερμανίας, παρομοιάζοντας μάλιστα τον Νίκλας Ζίλε με τον Μαγκουάιρ της Μάντσεστερ Γιουνάιτεντ.
Ο παλαίμαχος άσος των Ρεάλ, Άγιαξ και Ολλανδία δήλωσε:
«Η Γερμανία έχει μεγάλο πρόβλημα στην άμυνα της. Ο Νίκλας Ζίλε δεν είναι ποδοσφαιριστής παγκοσμίου κλάσης, είναι ο Γερμανός Χάρι Μαγκουάιρ».

Η Γερμανία μπορεί να επικράτησε με 4-2 της Κόστα Ρίκα ωστόσο «πλήρωσε» την ήττα της με 2-1 από την Ιαπωνία στη πρεμιέρα μένοντας τρίτη στην ισοβαθμία με τους Ισπανούς λόγω της διαφοράς τερμάτων.
