Open accounts for Lamia and Athens Kallithea

The two teams may be separated by one category, but Athens Kallithea looked into the eyes of Fthiotes, drew (1-1) at "Athanassios Diakos" and the case of qualification to the "8" of the Cup will be clarified in the rematch at " El Paso".

A point of reference in the first match between the two teams for the "16" phase of the Cup, was the official debut of Savvas Pantelidis on the bench of Lamia.

The Phthians had the initiative of the movements and most of the good moments in the first half, without however managing to find the way to the net.

The visitors, with a good defensive function, closed corridors and the goalkeeper Panto shouting "present" whenever needed, kept their home team intact in the first 45 minutes.

The first important chance in the match was registered for Athens Kallithea in the 7th minute, when a shot by Kynigopoulos from a good position ended up in the arms of Garavelis.

Lamia threatened for the first time with Giakoumakis (13') and the "dance" of missed opportunities continued with Manousos (23') and Tsilouli (31').

At the start of the second half, the Athenian team was the one that brought out more energy and tension on the grass and had two good chances to score.

In the 49th minute, Neely's shot from the edge of the area went just over the home team's crossbar.

In the 57th minute, Demetrius stole the ball from Beharanos, crossed, but Kynigopoulos had a poor finish from a shooting position.

Lamia threatened for the first time in the second half with Boaki, who from an advantageous position did not put his head well and missed an important opportunity in the 65th minute.

In the 80th minute, after an excellent effort by Demetrius who "danced" through the defense of the home team and an assist pass to Loukinas, Athens striker Kallithea sent the ball into the net with a spot kick (0-1).

Kallithea...touched the second goal in the 94th minute with a shot by Kynigopoulos from outside the area that found the left vertical beam, with the final 1-1 ending the match and the two teams renewing their date for the rematch of El Paso at which point it will become clear where the qualification ticket for the "8" of the Cup will end up.

Referee Fotis Polychronis (Pieria) showed a yellow card to Nili, Adetzo.

Μπορεί τις δύο ομάδες να τις χωρίζει μία κατηγορία, ωστόσο η Athens Kallithea κοίταξε στα μάτια τους Φθιώτες, πήρε την ισοπαλία (1-1) στο «Αθανάσιος Διάκος» και η υπόθεση πρόκρισης στους «8» του Κυπέλλου θα ξεκαθαρίσει στον επαναληπτικό αγώνα στο «Ελ Πάσο».

Σημείο αναφοράς στην πρώτη αναμέτρηση μεταξύ των δύο ομάδων για την φάση των «16» του Κυπέλλου, αποτέλεσε η το επίσημο ντεμπούτο του Σάββα Παντελίδη στον πάγκο της Λαμίας.

Οι Φθιώτες είχαν την πρωτοβουλία των κινήσεων και τις περισσότερες καλές στιγμές στο α΄ημίχρονο, χωρίς ωστόσο να καταφέρουν να βρουν το δρόμο προς τα δίχτυα.

Οι φιλοξενούμενοι με καλή αμυντική λειτουργία, κλειστούς διαδρόμους και τον τερματοφύλακα Πάντο να φωνάζει «παρών» όποτε χρειάστηκε, κράτησαν ανέπαφη την εστία τους στα πρώτα 45 λεπτά.

Η πρώτη σημαντική ευκαιρία στο ματς καταγράφηκε για την Athens Kallithea στο 7΄, όταν ένα σουτ του Κυνηγόπουλου από καλή θέση κατέληξε στην αγκαλιά του Γκαραβέλη.

Η Λαμία απείλησε για πρώτη φορά με τον Γιακουμάκη (13΄) και ο «χορός» των χαμένων ευκαιριών συνεχίστηκε με τους Μανούσο (23΄) και Τσιλούλη (31΄).  

Με την έναρξη του β΄ημιχρόνου η αθηναϊκή ομάδα ήταν αυτή που έβγαλε μεγαλύτερη ενέργεια και ένταση στο χορτάρι κι είχε δύο καλές ευκαιρίες για γκολ.

Στο 49΄σουτ του Νίλι από τα όρια της περιοχής η μπάλα πέρασε λίγο πάνω από το οριζόντιο δοκάρι των γηπεδούχων.

Στο 57΄ο Ντεμέτριους έκλεψε την μπάλα από τον Μπεχαράνο, έκανε τη σέντρα, όμως ο Κυνηγόπουλος είχε κακό τελείωμα από θέση βολής.

Η Λαμία απείλησε για πρώτη φορά στο β΄ημίχρονο με τον Μποάκι, ο οποίος από πλεονεκτική θέση δεν έβαλε καλά το κεφάλι κι έχασε σημαντική ευκαιρία στο 65΄.  

Στο 80΄μετά από έξοχη προσπάθεια του Ντεμέτριους που «χόρεψε» την άμυνα των γηπεδούχων και ασίστ πάσα στον Λουκίνας ο επιθετικός της Athens Kallithea έστειλε με πλασέ την μπάλα στα δίχτυα (0-1).

Η Λαμία έφερε το παιχνίδι στα ίσια στο 88΄όταν μετά από σέντρα του Σλίβκα, ο Μπεχαράνο με καρφωτή κεφαλιά βρήκε δίχτυα (1-1).

Η Καλλιθέα...άγγιξε το δεύτερο γκολ στο 94΄' με σουτ του Κυνηγόπουλου έξω από την περιοχή που βρήκε το αριστερό κάθετο δοκάρι, με το τελικό 1-1 να κλείνει το ματς και τις δύο ομάδες να ανανεώνουν το ραντεβού τους για τον επαναληπτικό του Ελ Πάσο οπότε και θα ξεκαθαρίσει που θα καταλήξει το εισιτήριο της πρόκρισης για τους "8" του Κυπέλλου.

Ο διαιτητής Φώτης Πολυχρόνης (Πιερίας) έδειξε κίτρινη κάρτα στους Νίλι, Αντέτζο.
