AEK struggled for 65 minutes against Lamia but the solution came from the Netherlands! Van Feert with... two cross-field headers solved the puzzle and the victories with a wide score (3-0) at the OPAP Arena continue...

The issue was clear for AEK due to the many absences in the match against Lamia. Win by any means against the Fthiotida team and the goal is achieved. The Union won 3-0 against Lamia, reduced the difference from Panathinaikos to -5 and is waiting to see what the "clover" will do in a short time in Neapolis against Ionian!

Changes compared to the Cup

Three changes in the AEK lineup compared to the Cup match with Kifissia. Franson, Van Weert and Sidibe were left out, while Szymanski, Pineda, but also Rota started with Levi Garcia returning to the center forward position.

Chances for AEK, great moment for Lamia in the 44th minute

AEK entered the match with momentum and threatened just in the 2nd minute with Rota's energy from the right with the international full-back serving to Pineda who shot and Saranov blocking with a double effort.

The score remained 0-0 with AEK threatening again in the 10th minute with Petros Mandalo, whose shot was cleared for a corner by Saranov. Three minutes later Levi Garcia's attack did not bring the desired result with the score remaining 0-0.

AEK continued at the same pace. In the 22nd minute, Saranov stopped Mandalo again, with Lamia threatening for the first time in the match in the 29th minute with Slivka.

In the 30th minute, Manitalos and Araujo combined nicely with the Argentinian's fouled shot not having the outcome he would have liked with the visitors seconds later making their presence felt for the second time with Nunes' shot being blocked by Athanasiadis.

The match had pace, opportunities and intensity with Union having another good moment with a header by Levia in the 34th minute with the 0-0 not changing and the half ending with an incredible chance by Lamia in the 44th minute. The Fiotida team developed exceptionally from the right, the ball reached the height of the semi-circle, with Tzandaris catching a drifting shot that ended up excruciatingly near the root of the left post.

The two teams started the second half without changes, with AEK again threatening first with Saranov clearing Sergio Araújo's shot for a corner.

The score remained 0-0 and Almeida decided in the 62nd minute to "charge" the attack. He took out the mediocre Szymanski, passed Levi on the right, Mandalo on the left and Jonsson went to play a classic six. And the Argentinian technician was vindicated almost immediately.

In the 67th minute, AEK took the lead with Van Weert's first league goal. The Dutchman opened the scoring for Union with a classic header from a cross by Petros Mandalos.

The 1-0 remained with Union giving space and the ball to Lamia waiting to strike in transition, with some stealing, as happened in the 88th minute with Levia Garcia.

Van Weert passed to Levi, who ran on the counter attack, broke free with excellent feints, passed Saranov and made it 2-0. And that wasn't the final score, given that Van Weert came with a 2nd personal goal to make the final score 3-0!

We don't need to say much. Whatever good AEK did in the match, the Greek international was in it. At 1-0 it was he who served to Van Weert. Therefore, it is reasonable and expected that he will take this title in the match. Of course, Van Weert can also claim the title with two goals and an assist playing from the 62nd minute onwards. The Dutchman was very influential in the match. It essentially changed the fate of the match. So, let's go for half and half of the prize so as not to do any injustice to either of the two AEK players.

He was not the Pole of the first round. His absence from the winter training, the lack of games seemed to have taken him out of rhythm, as a result of which he was replaced in the 62nd minute by Matias Almeidas.

Manouhos did not make a big mistake. He just could, possibly, not be so tolerant of the sometimes tough game of the guests, while in the disciplinary control he would have issued some yellow cards.

How much truth can you handle?

The many absences AEK wanted the victory at all costs to reduce the difference from Panathinaikos who plays later and to prepare more calmly for the difficult matches that follow with PAS and Volos. And he succeeded... Even if he had to wait 67 minutes to open the scoring. The three points matter in this period and the goal was achieved with AEK relieved of the stress of scoring twice more after 85'.

Η ΑΕΚ ζορίστηκε για 65 λεπτά απέναντι στη Λαμία αλλά η λύση ήρθε από την Ολλανδία! Ο Φαν Φεερτ με… δυο σεντερφορίσιες κεφαλιές έλυσε τον γρίφο και οι νίκες με ευρύ σκορ (3-0) στην OPAP Arena συνεχίζονται…

Το ζητούμενο ήταν ξεκάθαρο για την ΑΕΚ των πολλών απουσιών στο ματς με τη Λαμία. Νίκη με οποιοδήποτε τρόπο κόντρα στην ομάδα της Φθιώτιδας και ο στόχος επετεύχθη. Η Ένωση επικράτησε με 3-0 της Λαμίας, μείωσε τη διαφορά από τον Παναθηναϊκό στο -5 και περιμένει να δει τι θα κάνει το «τριφύλλι» σε λίγη ώρα στη Νεάπολη κόντρα στον Ιωνικό!

Αλλαγές εν συγκρίσει με το Κύπελλο

Τρεις αλλαγές στην ενδεκάδα της ΑΕΚ εν συγκρίσει με το ματς Κυπέλλου με την Κηφισιά. Εκτός έμειναν οι Φράνσον, Φαν Βέερτ και Σιντιμπέ, ενώ ξεκίνησαν οι Σιμάνσκι, Πινέδα, αλλα και ο Ρότα με τον Λιβάι Γκαρσία να επιστρέφει στη θέση σέντερ φορ.

Ευκαιρίες η ΑΕΚ, μεγάλη στιγή για τη Λαμία στο 44'

Η ΑΕΚ μπήκε με ορμή στο ματς και απείλησε μόλις στο 2' με ενέργεια του Ρότα από δεξιά με τον διεθνή μπακ να σερβίρει στον Πινέδα που σούταρε και τον Σαράνοφ να μπλοκάρει με διπλή προσπάθεια.

Το 0-0 παρέμενε με την ΑΕΚ να απειλεί εκ νέου στο 10' με τον Πέτρο Μάνταλο, του οποίου το σουτ έδιωξε κόρνερ ο Σαράνοφ. Τρία λεπτά αργότερα επέλαση του Λιβάι Γκαρσία δεν έφερε επιθυμητό αποτέλεσμα με το 0-0 να παραμένει.

Η ΑΕΚ συνέχισε στο ίδιο τέμπο. Στο 22΄ ο Σαράνοφ σταμάτησε εκ νέου τον Μάνταλο, με τη Λαμία να απειλεί για πρώτη φορά στο ματς στο 29' με τον Σλίβκα. 

Στο 30' Μάνυταλος και Αραούχο συνδυάστηκαν ωραία με το φαλτσαριστό πλασέ του Αργεντινού να μην έχει την κατάληξη που θα ήθελε με τους φιλοξενούμενους δευτερόλεπτα αργότερα να κάνουν για 2η φορά αισθητή την παρουσία τους με το σουτ του Νούνιες να μπλοκάρεται από τον Αθανασιάδη.

Το ματς είχε ρυθμό, ευκαιρίες και ένταση με την Ένωση να έχει ακόμη μία καλή στιγμή με κεφαλιά του Λιβάι στο 34' με το 0-0 να μην αλλάζει και το ημίχρονο να κλείνει με απίστευτη ευκαιρία της Λαμίας στο 44'. Η ομάδα της Φιώτιδας αναπτύχθηκε εξαιρετικά από δεξιά, η μπάλα έφτασε στο ύψος του ημικυκλίου, με τον Τζανδάρη να πιάνει συρτό σουτ που κατέληξε βασανιστικά δίπλα από τη ρίζα της αριστερής δοκού.

«Χρυσή αλλαγή» ο Φαν Βέερτ, «καθάρισε» ο Λιβάι!

Χωρίς αλλαγές ξεκίνησαν το β' ημίχρονο οι δύο ομάδες, με την ΑΕΚ να απειλεί εκ νέου πρώτη με τον Σαράνοφ να διώχνει σε κόρνερ το σουτ του Σέρχιο Αραούχο.

Το 0-0 παρέμενε και ο Αλμέιδα αποφάσισε στο 62' να «φορτώσει» την επίθεση. Έβγαλε τον μέτριο Σιμάνσκι, πέρασε τον Λιβάι δεξιά, τον Μάνταλο αριστερά και ο Γιόνσον πήγε να παίξει κλασικό εξάρι. Και ο Αργεντινός τεχνικός δικαιώθηκε σχεδόν άμεσα.

Στο 67' η ΑΕΚ πήρε... κεφάλι στο σκορ με το πρώτο γκολ του Φαν Βέερτ στο πρωτάθλημα. Ο Ολλανδός με κλασική σεντερφορίσια κεφαλιά σε σέντρα του Πέτρου Μάνταλου άνοιξε το σκορ για την Ένωση.

Το 1-0 παρέμενε με την Ένωση να δίνει χώρο και μπάλα στη Λαμία περιμένοντας να χτυπήσει στο τρανζίσιον, με κάποιο κλέψιμο, όπως έγινε στο 88' με τον Λιβάι Γκαρσία. 

Ο Φαν Βέερτ πέρασε στον Λιβάι, εκείνος έτρεξε στην αντεπίθεση, απελευθερώθηκε με εξαιρετικές προσποιήσεις, πέρασε και τον Σαράνοφ και έγραψε το 2-0. Και αυτό δεν ήταν το τελικό σκορ, με δεδομένο πως ήρθε ο Φαν Βέερτ με 2ο προσωπικό γκολ να γράψει στα χασομέρια το τελικό 3-0!

Πέτρος Μάνταλος - Φαν Βέερτ

Δεν χρειάζεται να πούμε πολλά. Ό,τι καλό έφτιαξε στο ματς η ΑΕΚ, ήταν μέσα ο Έλληνας διεθνής. Στο 1-0 ήταν αυτός που σέρβιρε στον Φαν Βέερτ. Επομένως λογικό και αναμενόμενο να πάρει τον τίτλο αυτόν στην αναμέτρηση. Βέβαια, τον τίτλο μπορεί να διεκδικήσει και ο Φαν Βέερτ με δύο γκολ και ασίστ παίζοντας από το 62' και μετά. Άκρως επιδραστικός στο ματς ο Ολλανδός. Άλλαξε ουσιαστικά τη μοίρα της αναμέτρησης. Πάμε, λοιπόν, μισό-μισό το βραβείο για να μην αδικήσουμε κανέναν από τους δύο παίκτες της ΑΕΚ.

Δεν ήταν ο Πολωνός του α' γύρου. Η απουσία του από τη χειμερινή προετοιμασία, η έλλειψη αγώνων φάνηκε πως τον έχουν βγάλει εκτός ρυθμού, με αποτέλεσμα να αντικατασταθεί στο 62' από τον Ματίας Αλμέιδα. 

Τελετές «Το Κοράκι»

Ο Μανούχος δεν έκανε κάποιο μεγάλο λάθος. Απλά θα μπορούσε, ενδεχομένως, να μην είναι τόσο ανεκτικός στο σκληρό κάποιες φορές παιχνίδι των φιλοξενούμενων, ενώ στον πειθαρχικό έλεγχο να είχε βγάλει κάποιες κίτρινες κάρτες.

Πόση αλήθεια αντέχεις;

Η ΑΕΚ των πολλών απουσιών ήθελε πάση θυσία τη νίκη για να μειώσει τη διαφορά από τον Παναθηναϊκό που παίζει αργότερα και να προετοιμαστεί πιο ήρεμη για τα δύσκολα ματς που ακολουθούν με ΠΑΣ και Βόλο. Και τα κατάφερε... Έστω και αν χρειάστηκε να περιμένει 67 λεπτά για να ανοίξει το σκορ. Το τρίποντο έχει σημασία σ' αυτή τη χρονική περίοδο και ο στόχος επετεύχθη με την ΑΕΚ απελευθερωμένη από το άγχος να σκοράρει άλλες δύο φορές μετά το 85'.
