Στην καθιερωμένη συνέντευξη Τύπου ο τεχνικός των «Πολιτών», Πεπ Γκουαρδιόλα δέχθηκε ερώτηση που σίγουρα δεν περίμενε.
Δυο Ισπανοί δημοσιογράφοι ρώτησαν τον Καταλανό τεχνικό αν οι ποδοσφαιριστές του θα κάνουν... pasillo για να τιμήσουν τους «Μερένγκες» για την κατάκτηση της La Liga! Ο έμπειρος προπονητής στην αρχή έδειξε αιφνιδιασμένος και ζήτησε ξανά την ερώτηση επειδή νόμιζε πως δεν κατάλαβε καλά και στη συνέχεια απάντησε: «Το ισπανικό πρωτάθλημα είναι εντελώς διαφορετικό από το Champions League. Εδώ μιλάμε για Champions League. Ως επίσημος εκπρόσωπος της Σίτι, δίνω συγχαρητήρια στην Ρεάλ, αλλά αυτό είναι Champions League, είναι κάτι πολύ μακρινό. Το ερώτημα ήταν παντελώς... άκαιρο, καθώς εκτός από το γεγονός πως οι δυο διοργανώσεις δεν συνδέονται η UEFA δεν το επιτρέπει, αφού βάσει του τηλεοπτικού πρωτοκόλλου οι ομάδες πρέπει να βγαίνουν ταυτόχρονα στο γήπεδο από τα αποδυτήρια, πίσω από τη διαιτητική ομάδα.
