Premier League: De Bruyne's player of the season
Manchester City star Kevin De Bruyne has emerged as the top player of the season in the Premier League.
Liverpool won the Premier League title after 30 years, Jürgen Klopp became the top manager of the season, but Kevin De Bruyne of Manchester City won the award for the best player of the year in the English league.
The Belgian midfielder had a great year, despite City's inability to win the championship back to back. In 35 appearances, the 29-year-old star had 13 goals and 20 assists, while in total this season he scored 16 goals and distributed 23 assists to his teammates.

Ο σταρ της Μάντσεστερ Σίτι, Κέβιν Ντε Μπρόινε αναδείχθηκε ως ο κορυφαίος ποδοσφαιριστής της σεζόν στην Premier League.
ΗΛίβερπουλ κατέκτησε τον τίτλο στην Premier League ύστερα από 30 χρόνια, ο Γιούργκεν Κλοπ αναδείχθηκε κορυφαίος προπονητής της σεζόν, αλλά ο Κέβιν Ντε Μπρόινε της Μάντσεστερ Σίτι πήρε το βραβείο του καλύτερου παίκτη της χρονιάς στο αγγλικό πρωτάθλημα.
Ο Βέλγος μεσοεπιθετικός πραγματοποίησε μία εξαιρετική χρονιά, παρά την αδυναμία της Σίτι να κατακτήσει back to back το πρωτάθλημα. Σε 35 συμμετοχές, ο 29χρονος σταρ είχε 13 γκολ και 20 ασίστ, ενώ συνολικά την εφετινή σεζον σκόραρε 16 τέρματα και μοίρασε 23 ασίστ στους συμπαίκτες του.
