Yannick Sinner won the grand final of the US Open against Taylor Fritz with a score of 6-3, 6-4, 7-5 and won the second Grand Slam of his career.

Yannick Siner made it two-for-two in Grand Slam finals, doubling his Major titles, following the Australian Open earlier in the season.

The world No.1 took the victory without losing a set and with a score of 6-3, 6-4, 7-5 he became the first Italian to lift the title in the American Grand Slam.

With two runs he took the lead in the final

The match got off to a great start for Yannick Sinner, who took advantage of Fritz's sluggish start, breaking with... good evening. The Italian then doubled his games (2-0), but saw the American respond to the break and overturn the score (3-2).

Of course, in Taylor Fritz's streak, Yannick Shiner found an answer and very quickly regained his lead (4-3), with a new break. In fact, the world's No. 1 did not let his opponent take a game again, and as a result he takes the lead in the sets with 6-3.

At the last moment... Shiner struck for 2-0

The second set was nothing like the first. The two tennis players were very solid behind the serve, not giving each other threatening rights.

Schinner maintained his lead throughout the set as he served first in the set, with Fritz trailing until the 10th game. There, the American served to stay in the set, however Shiner found a double break point (15-40) which he took full advantage of to make it 2-0 in sets (6-4).

He didn't... he was touched by Fritz's break and won the title

In the third set Taylor Fritz had his back against the wall, with Yannick Schinner one set away from winning the title. The two players started similarly to the second set, holding their serves (3-3).

Fritz in the 7th game took advantage of the double break point and made it 4-3, to then gain a two-game lead by holding (5-3). The Italian broke to 5-4 and the American served to take the set, which he failed to do as Sinner dominated to level at 5-5.

The tie in the set gave... wings to the feet of the Italian, with the No.1 in the world not letting his opponent take another game and with two straight games to make it 7-5 and close with a straight sets victory final, celebrating the title in New York.

O Γιανίκ Σίνερ πήρε τη νίκη στον μεγάλο τελικό του US Open κόντρα στον Τέιλορ Φριτζ με σκορ 6-3, 6-4, 7-5 και κατέκτησε το δεύτερο Grand Slam της καριέρας του.

Το δύο στα δύο σε τελικούς Grand Slam έκανε ο Γιανίκ Σίνερ, ο οποίος διπλασίασε τους Major τίτλους του, μετά το Australian Open στις αρχές της σεζόν.

Ο Νο.1 του κόσμου πήρε τη νίκη χωρίς να χάσει σετ και με σκορ 6-3, 6-4, 7-5 έγινε ο πρώτος Ιταλός που σηκώνει τον τίτλο στο αμερικανικό Grand Slam.

Με δύο σερί πήρε προβάδισμα στον τελικό

Η αναμέτρηση άρχισε ιδανικά για τον Γιανίκ Σίνερ, ο οποίος εκμεταλλεύτηκε το νωθρό ξεκίνημα του Φριτζ, κάνοντας break με το... καλησπέρα. Ο Ιταλός διπλασίασε τα games του στη συνέχεια (2-0), όμως είδε τον Αμερικανό ν' απαντάει στο break και ν' ανατρέπει το σκορ (3-2).

Βέβαια στο σερί του Τέιλορ Φριτζ, o Γιανίκ Σίνερ βρήκε απάντηση και πολύ γρήγορα ανέκτησε το προβάδισμα του (4-3), με νέο break. Μάλιστα, ο Νο.1 του κόσμου δεν άφησε ξανά τον αντίπαλό του να πάρει game με αποτέλεσμα παίρνει κεφάλι στα σετ με 6-3.

Την ύστατη στιγμή... χτύπησε ο Σίνερ για το 2-0

Το δεύτερο σετ δεν έμοιαζε καθόλου με το πρώτο. Οι δύο τενίστες ήταν πολύ σταθεροί πίσω από το σερβίς, χωρίς να δώσουν δικαιώματα απειλής ο ένας στον άλλον.

Ο Σίνερ διατήρησε το προβάδισμά του σε όλο το σετ, μιας και σέρβιρε πρώτος στο σετ, με τον Φριτζ ν' ακολουθεί έως το 10ο game. Εκεί, ο Αμερικανός σέρβιρε για να μείνει στο σετ, ωστόσο ο Σίνερ βρήκε διπλό break point (15-40) το οποίο εκμεταλλεύτηκε στο μέγιστο για να κάνει το 2-0 στα σετ (6-4).

Δεν τον... άγγιξε το break του Φριτζ και κατέκτησε τον τίτλο

Στο τρίτο σετ ο Τέιλορ Φριτζ ήταν με την πλάτη στον τοίχο, με τον Γιανίκ Σίνερ να είναι ένα σετ μακριά από την κατάκτηση του τίτλου. Οι δύο παίκτες ξεκίνησαν παρόμοια με το δεύτερο σετ, διατηρώντας τα σερβίς τους (3-3).

Ο Φριτζ στο 7ο game εκμεταλλεύτηκε το διπλό break point και έκανε το 4-3, για ν' αποκτήσει στη συνέχεια δύο games προβάδισμα κάνοντας hold (5-3). Ο Ιταλός μείωσε σε 5-4 και ο Αμερικανός σέρβιρε για να κατακτήσει το σετ, κάτι το οποίο δεν κατάφερε μιας και ο Σίνερ με κυριαρχικό τρόπο ισοφάρισε σε 5-5.

Η ισοφάριση στο σετ έδωσε... φτερά στα πόδια του Ιταλού, με τον Νο.1 στον κόσμο να μην αφήνει τον αντίπαλό του να πάρει άλλο game και με δύο σερί games να κάνει το 7-5 και να κλείνει με straight sets νίκη τον τελικό, πανηγυρίζοντας τον τίτλο στην Νέα Υόρκη.
