Real: Until 2028 in the "queen" Lunin
Andriy Lunin has finally reached an agreement with Real Madrid, with the Ukrainian goalkeeper signing a contract extension until 2028.
Real Madrid have sealed a major deal for their present and future under the goalposts, with the Merengues finally signing Andrei Lunin, who is set to extend his contract until 2028.
The cooperation of the two sides was to be completed in the summer of 2025 and since there had been no deal so far, the next day of the 25-year-old goalkeeper in Madrid was meteoric.
However, according to the Spanish Marca, the case has been positively closed and only the formalities remain for the agreement to be officially announced.
Last season, Lunin had to defend for over 30 games in front of Madrid, after the serious injury of Thibaut Courtois, and he did so with great success, securing this extension.

Ο Αντρέι Λούνιν έφτασε τελικά σε συμφωνία με τη Ρεάλ Μαδρίτης, με τον Ουκρανό τερματοφύλακα να υπογράφει επέκταση συμβολαίου έως και το 2028.
Η Ρεάλ Μαδρίτης έκλεισε μία σημαντική συμφωνία για το παρόν και το μέλλον της κάτω από τα γκολπόστ, με τους "μερένχες" να δίνουν εν τέλει τα χέρια με τον Αντρέι Λούνιν, ο οποίος πρόκειται να επεκτείνει το συμβόλαιό του έως και το 2028.
Η συνεργασία των δύο πλευρών επρόκειτο να ολοκληρωθεί το καλοκαίρι του 2025 και από τη στιγμή που δεν είχε υπάρξει μέχρι πρότινος κάποιο deal, η επόμενη μέρα του 25χρονου πορτιέρε στη Μαδρίτη ήταν μετέωρη.
Σύμφωνα όμως με την ισπανική Marca, η υπόθεση έκλεισε θετικά και απομένουν μονάχα τα τυπικά για να ανακοινωθεί και επισήμως η συμφωνία.
Ο Λούνιν χρειάστηκε την περσινή σεζόν να υπερασπιστεί για πάνω από 30 παιχνίδια την εστία των Μαδριλένων, μετά τον σοβαρό τραυματισμό του Τιμπό Κουρτουά, και το έκανε με μεγάλη επιτυχία, εξασφαλίζοντας αυτή την επέκταση.
