Nice - Lens: The referee's trick to stop the players' protests
The referee of the Nice match with Lens (1-1, 2/5) thought of a special way to avoid the protests of the players.
The game between Nice and Lens ended in a 1-1 draw on Saturday night (2/5), with the guests now remaining at -6 from Paris Saint-Germain, 7 matches before the Ligue 1 final.
The match had quite a few nerves from the players of both teams, with the referee Thomas Leonard... devising a special way to avoid the protests.
During a VAR review of the goal that ultimately equalized in the 84th minute, the players headed towards him (the referee), with Leonard... drawing a line with the spray, like those in cases of fouls, showing them not to cross it!
The footage of course went viral and Leonard... made the front page.

Ο ρέφερι του ματς της Νις με τη Λανς (1-1, 2/5) σκέφτηκε έναν ιδιαίτερο τρόπο για να αποφύγει τις διαμαρτυρίες των ποδοσφαιριστών.
Ισόπαλο με 1-1 έληξε το παιχνίδι της Νις με τη Λανς το βράδυ του Σαββάτου (2/5), με τους φιλοξενούμενους να μένουν πλέον στο -6 από την Παρί Σεν Ζερμέν, 7 αγωνιστικές πριν το φινάλε της Ligue 1.
Η αναμέτρηση είχε αρκετά νεύρα από τους ποδοσφαιριστές και των δυο ομάδων, με τον διαιτητή Τόμας Λεονάρ να... σκαρφίζεται έναν ιδιαίτερο τρόπο για να αποφύγει τις διαμαρτυρίες.
Κατά τη διάρκεια ενός ελέγχου από το VAR, στο γκολ που εν τέλει έφερε την ισοφάριση στο 84ο λεπτό, οι παίκτες κατευθύνθηκαν προς τα πάνω του (σσ του διαιτητή), με τον Λεονάρ να... τραβάει μια γραμμή με το σπρέι, όπως αυτές σε περιπτώσεις φάουλ, δείχνοντάς τους να μην την περάσουν!
Το στιγμιότυπο φυσικά έγινε viral και ο Λεονάρ...πρωτοσέλιδο.
