With its official announcement, Manchester City confirmed the departure of Bernardo Silva next summer.

It was a common secret, even heard by Pep Guardiola's assistant, but Bernardo Silva's "finale" with the Manchester City jersey became official on Thursday afternoon (16/4).

The "citizens" confirmed through their announcement that the Portuguese midfielder will leave next summer, as a free agent, after 9 years of presence and success at the "Etihad".

Silva was acquired from Monaco back in 2017 for a fee close to 50 million euros and so far has 76 goals and 77 assists in 451 appearances in all competitions, having won 18 titles, including 1 Champions League and 6 Premier League.

Now, he is called upon to lead Pep Guardiola's team to another championship title in England, with City hosting leaders Arsenal on Sunday (19/4), having the opportunity to reduce it to 3 points, while also having a match less.

Με επίσημη ανακοίνωσή της, η Μάντσεστερ Σίτι επιβεβαίωσε την αποχώρηση του Μπερνάρντο Σίλβα το προσεχές καλοκάιρι.

Ήταν κοινό μυστικό, είχε ακουστεί και από τον ίδιο τον βοηθό του Πεπ Γκουαρδιόλα, ωστόσο το «φινάλε» του Μπερνάρντο Σίλβα με τη φανέλα της Μάντσεστερ Σίτι πήρε επίσημη μορφή το μεσημέρι της Πέμπτης (16/4).

Οι «πολίτες» μέσω ανακοίνωσής τους επιβεβαίωσαν την αποχώρηση του Πορτογάλου μεσοεπιθετικού το ερχόμενο καλοκάιρι, ως ελέυθερου, έπειτα από 9 χρόνια παρουσίας και επιτυχιών στο «Έτιχαντ».

Ο Σίλβα αποκτήθηκε από τη Μονακό πίσω στο 2017 με ένα ποσό κοντά στα 50 εκατ. ευρώ και μέχρι στιγμής μετράει 76 γκολ και 77 ασίστ σε 451 συμμετοχές σε όλες τις διοργανώσεις, έχοντας κατακτήσει 18 τίτλους, μεταξύ αυτών 1 Champions League και 6 Premier League.

Πλέον, καλείται να ηγηθεί της ομάδας του Πεπ Γκουαρδιόλα σε έναν ακόμη τίτλο πρωταθλήματος στην Αγγλία, με τη Σίτι να υποδέχεται την πρωτοπόρο Άρσεναλ την Κυριακή (19/4), έχοντας την ευκαιρία να μειώσει στους 3 βαθμούς, ενώ θα έχει και ματς λιγότερο.
