Cameron Payne is the one who left the Sixers, as the Philadelphia team decided to release him

Just two months after his re-entry into the NBA and after leaving Partizan and the Euroleague, Payne was released by the Sixers to open up a roster spot and convert Dalen Terry's two-way contract into a regular one.

Payne managed to play in 22 games with the Sixers, averaging 7.4 points, 2 rebounds and 2.6 assists in about 17 minutes of participation, but he will not strengthen the team in the play-ins or in the playoffs.

On the other hand, Dalen Terry is in his fourth season in the NBA and this year he is averaging 3.7 points, 1.8 rebounds and 1.4 assists per game.

Payne's season in the NBA is essentially over due to regulations, which do not allow teams to sign players for the playoffs after a certain deadline.

Μόλις δύο μήνες μετά την επανένταξή του στο ΝΒΑ και αφού άφησε την Παρτιζάν και τη Euroleague, ο Πέιν έμεινε ελεύθερος από τους Σίξερς για να ανοίξει θέση στο ρόστερ και να μετατρέψει το two-way συμβόλαιο του Ντέιλεν Τέρι σε κανονικό.

Ο Πέιν πρόλαβε να αγωνιστεί σε 22 παιχνίδια με τη φανέλα των Σίξερς, έχοντας σε αυτό το διάστημα 7,4 πόντους, 2 ριμπάουντ και 2,6 ασίστ κατά μέσο όρο, σε περίπου 17 λεπτά συμμετοχής, όμως δε θα ενισχύσει την ομάδα στα play in ή και στα playoffs.

Από την άλλη, ο Ντέιλεν Τέρι διανύει την τέταρτη σεζόν του στο NBA και φέτος μετράει 3,7 πόντους, 1,8 ριμπάουντ και 1,4 ασίστ ανά αγώνα.

Η σεζόν του Πέιν στο ΝΒΑ ουσιαστικά έχει τελειώσει λόγω των κανονισμών, οι οποίοι δεν επιτρέπουν τις ομάδες να υπογράψουν παίκτες για τα πλέι οφ μετά από μια ορισμένη προθεσμία.
